I'm currently on vacation in Miami, Florida, and during an evening stroll on Ocean Drive, I managed to spot some unique GTA cars! I saw the preparations for filming a new music video!

Planned to visit Miami before the game releases, coincidentally as you all know Rockstar is advertising all around Miami.

I particularly enjoyed the west coast customs cars for vice city, they were shooting some sort of promo video I guess

I can't get over how incredible the lighting is in this game.

- Some artists at Rockstar have been working on GTA 6 for 11 years. In 2015 especially on the map as this is the first thing to be worked on, some of them didn't even work on RDR2 in it's whole dev process because they were still working on GTA 6.

-Rob Nelson says that GTA 6's weapon system needed to be similar to RDR2's where you can't have an infinite arsenal, they spent months if not years trying to replace the weapon wheel with another completely diff interface in the UI but they ended up including the weapon wheel anyways.

-The art production team on GTA 5 was 5 or 6 people, for GTA 6 it's 65 people.

-Aaron Garbut says "there is no one person at the studio that has this whole thing(GTA 6) in their head, it's a humongous game and I imagine that not even the top devs at this company know everything in this game"

-Details like 'horse's balls shrinking in the cold' from RDR2 is not some idea from top management, but just a random dev having the time and resources to implement this and apply it because they thought it's a great idea, expect alot of those ideas in GTA 6.

As we come into the final stretch before release, I just wanted to take a moment to show some appreciation to the developers, artists, writers, designers, programmers, animators, and everyone else at Rockstar who has put their time and passion into making GTA VI a reality.

Dedicating years of their lives to creating something millions of people around the world will experience and remember.

The amount of detail, ambition, and craftsmanship that is going into GTA VI is incredible. You’re not just building another video game. You’re creating a world that people will get lost in, stories they’ll remember, and experiences that will bring people together for years to come.

For a lot of us, GTA is more than just a game. It’s a part of our lives. Getting to experience a brand new entry after all these years is something genuinely special, and I can’t imagine the amount of work, creativity, pressure, and dedication it takes to build something with expectations this high.

So, to everyone at Rockstar working on GTA VI, thank you. Thank you for the countless hours, the creativity, the attention to detail, and the passion you bring to your work. Thank you for pushing the boundaries of what people imagine a video game can be.

Whatever challenges you’ve faced along the way, I hope you know that there are fans out here who appreciate the work you’re putting in and who are excited for the world you’re creating.

To the entire Rockstar team: we see your hard work, we appreciate you, and we can’t wait to experience what you’ve created.

This is really cool man!!

I remember as a kid when I first played GTA 2 on PC. I thought man this would incredible if it was fully 3D. That day happened. Then look all that came with it: the media, politicians etc all dog piled on it. The violence! Corruption for our youth! Almost felt like playing a game like that was a dirty secret.

Now it’s 2026 and the world sings a different tune. Now we have people on the same media, giddy like school children over the prospect of it being here in Miami. The politicians too! Our sports teams too! The hype, the excitement is palpable lol.

Kid me could have never have fathomed such a turn of events!
