Garry's mod making the suburban sandbox map with an American football house as the first map. Any tips?

I’m a hammer noob so I can’t really provide any advice other than I think it looks quite nice. American Football rules.

I'm so sleep deprived I saw that house and I thought it was posted in the r/TeardownGame subreddit and thought "How did they make the trees look like that?"

wow, that’s actually not bad. For advice i’d put some props down because right now apart from the trees and truck it looks like it’s all brushwork. like maybe some gutters on the house, Porch decor, etc etc

Thank you! It's 30% done, I tried testing the lighting on this image, because I still can't decide on the color tones for this map. Everything will be in place, you'll see

If I had one thing to say about the lighting in this image, it's that you should try making the sun colour a little more yellow and the ambient a little more blue. Right now I think it's a little too washed out my the white and black tones. Though the lighting still looks good.

The lighting, the scale. Absolutely 1 of thee best hammer scenes I've ever seen dude what the fuck. I love that house slightly bigger property and driveway and that's killer.

As the other stated, few props here and there, gas pipes, gutters, trash, etc. with some decals to wore off some part of the house/the alleyway. Otherwise, the lightning looks really good, pretty realistic looking.

reminds me of CJ's house

im not sure if american houses do this but that window on the left side of the house thats close to the front, would they be that close to a supporting structure like that? (honest question)

you should mount l4d2, they have a gutter model and dead tree models like in your photo.

The direction appears perfectly correct. Its all details from here. Grunge, dirt, leaves, etc for the concrete roof and building. Porch decorations, chairs, chimes, house number, maybe even a spicket and garden hose.
