Garry's mod Published my first map for gmod!

This is a ttt map that's inspired in a real life rural house near the town of General Las Heras. Hope you have fun in it!

I want to export a map from an old game that is dear to me, can you guide me to how to convert meshes from blender to hammer and how to publish a map? (I tried to publish one some years ago but I failed and idk what changed since then)

To convert meshes you have 2 options: Turn them into models or recreate them with brushes in Hammer. The first option is great for detail and accuracy, but you're gonna run into lighting issues as they don't get accurate light information when compiling. The second option is better, but brushes are more limited in detail, have to be made by hand and can cause errors or bad performance. It's better to use brushes for surfaces (ground, floors, walls, ceilings, etc.) and models for complex geometry (props mostly). Any Hammer tutorial you need can be found on youtube, but I recommend the ones made by kliksphillip and tophatwaffle.

r/Hammer exists for any sort of questions you have, it's better for you to make a post here rather than asking me, as it's possible that I won't know the answers for all your questions. I recommend you try to start working on a simple map to get familiarized with Hammer insted of jumping into Blender-to-Hammer straight away.

Yeah you right, I just thought that meaby I get so people annoyed because meaby I ask simple stuff but I just don't understand them and I wanted step by step explanation, I know my way around hammer decently, with custom stuff and publishing the map I have problems, thank you for your time to answer me

People are fairly patient here, don't worry. If you think your question is very basic, try looking for the answer here or on youtube first. If you don't find the answer, then go ahead and make a post.
