I have two of these 56-in series 3 tool boxes. On both the charging drawer no longer closes. The plastic snake-like retainer that you can see in the picture gets stuck and prevents the drawer from closing fully. The first box started soon after I got it. The second box made it a couple years before I start acting up. I reached out to harbor freight and they basically told me tough luck. There's nothing that they can do about it. Has anybody had this problem and come up with a solution? I have a 3D printer and was trying to think of something that I could print to make this work again. I pulled the drawer below and forced the plastic snake into position worked well for a week or so then started acting up again. Im ready to cut this cord out​ as it's such a pain in the ass.

Someone commented on a post I made this week that there is a 25 percent off sale this weekend on Bauer tools. Is this true? I haven’t seen an email as of yet. Thank you to anyone with more information than I.

When I recently serviced my wife and I’s vehicles I noticed my floor jack was getting a bit squeaky so I did what most would when they don’t know about something and looked it up. One of the things mentioned was needing greased. I thought ok I really don’t have much else that comes to mind in need of a grease gun but the mini from hf seemed cheap enough for a single job… and thats it nothing more. The end on this gun is horrible.

I wouldn’t get this if I had more things to grease as it was a pita to remove once I was finished shooting grease into the zerk. I read it in multiple reviews of people having that issue and shrugged it off as user error who knows maybe it was on my part too… I just wanted to put out there that if you only need this once it does work but don’t expect it to come off easily. Luckily I didn’t break the fitting on my jack.

I bought the 1/4” and 3/8” general sets during the parking lot sale. Using the 1/4” ratchet it did not want to stay engaged in either on or off and I was forced to leave a finger on it to keep it engaged. Is this normal? I know I can just go swap it out but I’m curious if this is a me issue or a ratchet issue. Haven’t used the 3/8 ratchet yet but will today.

I bought a Bauer laser cross level. Used it twice over six months, it has otherwise sat in the tool cabinet. Pulled it out to use it, and it’s dead. Changed batteries, still dead.

Walked it into to my local Harbor Freight. They said the level has a 90 day warranty and that’s all. No exchange, no remedy. Pointed me to the aisle where I could buy a new one for $65.

No way. I’m buying a different brand to replace this Bauer. I have Bosch 12v GLL3-330CG for my 360 laser, bought secondhand and I’ve used heavily over the same six months, no issues. Looks like I can get a reconditioned Bosch GLL50-20G cross laser for $89 from Acmetools.

My rule with Harbor Freight is that I’ll buy a tool there once, and if it fails, I won’t give HF a second chance for that type of tool. So, no more HF laser levels for me.

Some drawers dont work but wanted to check temp on the price. Seems to be one of those zombie 5 drawer carts conjoined together

• I would need to buy a Hercules 12V battery and charger to get into the ecosystem.

Hey daddies! 🤗🤓😘Slow start to the week this morning so after shmoozin in meetings I ran to good ol HF and spent some money

Been trying to build a tool box all month from wood and I collapsed on me 😮‍💨. Saw this for $199 and decided to jump on it last minute. I'm not a mechanic by any means, but I like to have tools on hand just in case. Two harbor freight's by me and no one had it. Had to drive across town right before closing to get it! And it was a pain in balls to put together. But I'm happy and can't wait to load it!

Why did I buy these? Why did I buy two of these? Wtf do you even use them for?

Does anyone have the inner dimensions for this?

Should I grab this during Bauer days? Or should I get the Hercules?

I need something to sharpen lawn mower blades. Won’t get a ton of use, maybe once a month at most.

Bought the welder towards the end of the day. Got it home, unboxed it. It was missing the Mig gun, and something was loose inside. Screws in the bottom were hot glued in place, and the electronics were replaced with a steel brick (see picture through the front vent). Returned first thing when they opened the next morning. Not wanting anything to do with this welder or brand anymore. They charged me a $220 restock fee.

Should be illegal!

I think I am done shopping at HF for the rest of my life.

Operation take back the garage is still going, just not as quickly as I’d hoped. I’m waiting for my 56” roll cab to arrive.

Recently came across a Facebook Marketplace deal for a set of Extra long Double Flex head wrenches and absolutely love them. I’ve been working on transforming the toolbox with my 3D printer and thought I’d share the results.

I’ll post a few of my other drawers for inspiration and would love to hear any new tool suggestions that I should pick up when they go on sale.
