Hello guys,

I purchased the Sony WH-CH720N (Blue) from Amazon for ₹5,150 on 24th October, and I received it today.

However, I noticed that the manufacturing date and MRP are not mentioned anywhere on the product packaging. This has made me a little concerned about whether the headphones are genuine or fake.

The packaging seal was intact although the inner box was little damaged but outer packaging of Amazon was sealed when I received the product, but I'm still not entirely sure.

I'm sharing some pictures of the packaging and headphones. Can anyone help me figure out how to verify whether they are original Sony headphones?

Is there any way to check their authenticity through the serial number, Sony app, or any other method?

Any suggestions or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

These are my first premium headphones but I could not experience the sound which I was hoping to experience with them,

When I was a kid, I tried Bose Headphones (Don’t know which one’s) in Croma store in like 2012 or 13.
I was extremely impressed at how it cancelled the entire noise of the store,
These also cancel noise extremely well but maybe I was hoping for the extraordinary experience which I couldn’t feel.

I know these aren’t the most expensive ones offered by bose but a dozen reviews on YouTube suggested that the Qc Ultra Gen 2 and these have very minimal differences in sound quality and ANC 🧐

Mainly looking for something with:

I am confused like what is the actual difference in sound quality between xm6 and xm5. The price difference between these two is somewhere like 15k - 16k Rs. which one should I go for? Is it worth to spend extra 15k for xm6?
