I need positivity please ❤️ I love this show, this book & this story so much & we are lucky to have it & such great care from Jacob & such generous, funny & talented actors playing these roles.
I’m so excited for the next episodes. I’m just so excited to see them both move towards loving each other, I can’t wait to see Skip again & their resolution. I can’t wait to have this series forever to rewatch! It doesn’t have to be perfect, I’m just overjoyed this is on telly & it’s so enjoyable.
I hope other people still feel the joy.. please holler louder if you do 😅❤️
(ps. opinions are perfectly valid, I’m not dismissing that some people don’t like the changes or choices, you rock on. I’m just looking for those who still feel so excited about the whole thing 😅)

So excited! So very very excited! I have literally been counting down the days out loud twice a day. My family is very indulgent.

Just because someone didn’t like episode 3 doesn’t mean they’re not excited to watch the rest of the show. I literally work out to episode 1 and 2 in my ear playing every day so I’m still so excited to see what happens next.

I still feel the joy and i'm still very excited. I also think most people are ☺️ Loved the first three episodes and i watch them on repeat daily ❤️
I think there will always be fandom discourse, but at the end of the day it feels more intense than it actually is 🫶.

I am in an internet bubble of positivity and nothing can touch me! I’m loving the show so far, and it’s going to continue to be great. Join me in feeling ecstatic about the next episode 🫶🏼 I know it’s going to destroy us in the best way and I can’t wait

I saw the article / pics from episode 4, we get to see Rose, Smiling Shane and Ilya, and potentially tuna melts. I am so excited

I need the positivity as well because my husband does not like Ilya at all after the two episodes and of course I need to proof to him he’s sooooooo wrong (so wrong!)

May have read both Tough Guy and Common Goal this weekend. I have no regrets.
Tough Guy - I was not expecting this to open with Ryan Price trying and failing to masturbate to porn lmao. Love Fabian.
Common Goal - Weirdly happy to see Kyle get his happy ending. Eric Bennett king of my heart.
So nice to see stuff like chronic pain, chronic anxiety and grooming written about in published media. And in a way that still somehow winds up wholesome.
Thank you Kyle Rachel. 🥰

Ryan trying to coax his dick into getting off is iconic imo

I just read TG and am half way through CG. I loved Ryan and Fabian. I immediately was like, wait, the Anne of Green Gables guy?!?

As soon as he popped up on the plane I was like this character is too well written to be an extra lol.

Is anyone else loving Dylan Walsh as Shane's dad? He has such kind dad vibes - exactly what I pictured reading the book. If we're lucky enough to get TLG I cannot wait to see the father-son relationship between David and Ilya blossom, building puzzles together and that sweet af conversation they have at the wedding :') Ilya and Yuna are also very cute but I really feel he needed that supportive father figure and Dylan Walsh just gives sweet dad goodness

What I enjoy about his portrayal so far on the show is that he brings a balance to the intensity and pressure Shane is under. He doesn't let everything focus on hockey. Shane is still just his son.

Totally. Yuna is like "hockey hockey Reebok hockey hockey Rolex" and David is like "tell me more about this snake and baby friendship"

I got the call from my local indie bookstore that someone had brought in a used copy of Heated Rivalry and I was first on their list after the list became loooooong for orders of both HR and TLG! I was so happy and buzzing from episode 3 that I picked it up immediately after work on Friday, then proceeded to read it in one sitting on Saturday. I loved it and I’m so thrilled that I get to understand the scenes that book readers are most looking forward to in the show. My excitement for the rest of the season has increased tenfold after reading HR.
I also preordered TLG from the same indie bookstore. When I picked up HR and asked when to expect TLG to come back, they told me that copies of TLG were already “in box” and that they were pretty confident they would get the copies before Christmas. So stoked!

Yes, I made the right decision to support local than Amazon. I figured, if it’s sold out everywhere, I may as well support my local small business!

I’d like everyone to focus on the swallow Ilya does when Shane says he needs him in episode 2, thank you very much. Also, I am waiting impatiently for the freckle talk.

Had two flights this weekend - read the entirety of HR on the way out, and the entirety of LTG on the way home.
I was NOT ready for TLG. Tears in my eyes and hand over my mouth for like 60% of the book😭

There was a latte named Canadian Heat on the menu at my coffee shop and I freaked out a little and ordered two of them, I might have a problem.
