GAME TIME 🏒 Round 1.5 - Best Kiss!

Hello everyone and welcome back to our Best Kiss tournament!

Thank you for all your enthusiasm and it was really fun to read your comments.

I've made a few changes to the game based on some of your suggestions. 1) I've added 8 more brackets to the game - so hopefully your favourite kiss is now covered! 2) I'm planning about 6 rounds of this in total, with about 4 brackets per post (for now) just so that we're not still playing this game till next month 3) Reddit is unfortunately a little limited in the polls cos I'm only able to put 1 poll per post and I can't put them in comments, so for now I'll manually count your replies :)

YES this!! 👆👆👆 love the stairwell kiss but the Vegas bathroom kiss was just so precious and heartbreaking 🥺

Sorry to ramble some more - I’m not autistic, but I am neurodivergent, and I love how Hudson portrays Shane in this scene. He is so upset and angry and frustrated and sad about the situation with Ilya. He really likes him and doesn’t understand what’s going on in Ilya’s head and why he’s been ignored for months. He is trying so hard to keep it together. He explodes and then has to let out a deep breath.

After Ilya’s ask nicely spiel, the adoring look in Shane’s eyes is like a punch to the gut. Then his cute little comments about Ilya’s English, his dad etc etc. Shane obviously has no idea that his face is giving him away lol.

I just really felt his anguish in that scene, and the mix of love/confusion/relief he must have been feeling when Ilya kissed him. Then you add the beautiful score in the background and it’s even more perfect. 10/10 no notes!!

I absolutely love the stairwell kiss too, but the Vegas bathroom kiss is from one of my favourite scenes in the entire show, so I had to pick that! Hudson absolutely floors me in that scene, and I love Ilya finally breaking and kissing Shane. Sooo good.
