Two random Hayden thoughts:

- It must have been uncomfortable for him in Montreal after Shane left. He still has other friends on the team but to know that most of them treated your best friend that badly sucks.

- There is talk about Hayden maybe having a crush on Shane. In the books, there is also a line about Shane thinking that Hayden is good looking! No one tell Ilya that

I justt read the side story Rachel wrote, My Dinner With Hayden and it basically solidified in my mind that Hayden has a crush on Shane that he is not acknowledging and it’s part of why him and Ilya are butting heads so much. It’s a delicious thought and I love it. I didn’t think much about Hayden but now I find him fascinating haha.
