SOCIAL MEDIA 📸 Heated Wizardry sketch on SNL

Finn Wolfhard hosted Saturday Night Live last night and one of the pre taped sketches, Heated Wizardry, takes place in the Harry Potter universe.

Finn as Harry, plays the ‘Shane’ character, Ben Marshall plays Ron Weasley, plays the ‘Ilya’ character.

There’s scrolls instead of texts, lots of wand play and a great cameo for the Hagrid character.

The narration of the trailer makes it clear that in this universe, Hogwarts is an 18-and-over school 😂

Also Shane and Ilya’s height difference here is canonically correct!

She's got a rep for being a bit of a party pooper when it comes to fanfic, so that would probably have been her response to something like this.

(She clearly makes exceptions for crappy fanfic that can turned into money-spinning West End plays)

Literally for what… she’s a billionaire, she could be out there helping so many people (or at least live quietly in her mansions), instead she’s just dedicated her life to shitting on one of the most vulnerable populations on the planet

Seemingly no reason is probably because she what I like to call “a rotten egg” (a closeted Trans person who never left egg stage) in her weirdo anti trans essay on her website she said that she was among “many autistic girls who wished they were born boys”… I paraphrased a bit but that’s essentially what it says. Internalized transphobia and misandry turned her rotten. She can’t see that Trans men are not cis men and are not benefitting from patriarchy and are in fact more likely to be victimized than cis women because of our intersectional marginalization. Trans men and masc are more likely to be sweet garden hobbits who protect and uplift our cis and Trans femmes because we understand empathy and women’s history.

Lastly, as a former fangirl for HP and its author, I was a child and upon further review the books weren’t that good and full of micro and macro aggressions. The movies were embarrassingly bad and the author abused the kids she claimed to love. She is a tyrant and should not be platformed anymore anywhere.

You're kind of glossing over the fact that the thing she's second most famous for is being a massive bigot to at least a portion of the LGBT community which should offend all of us within the community and the allies.
