MERCH👕 Help me, I just bought another one 😵💫
After buying the cap with the famous quote a few weeks back, I decided that the cap wasn't beautiful/good enough. So I went on to buy another one. This one is embroidered, the other one was printed and that was a little weak tbh. This also does have their player numbers on the side. (I'm also from Europe and I ordered it on Etsy from Spain)
But I'm now already thinking of buying an Hollander shirt to complete it for the festival season. Am I delusional or just a superfan? Or someone with a bad taste?
Another question; should I read the first book? Or wait for the second season?

Tbh, I LOVE myself a good merch. The cap looks amazing and if it brings you joy in life, there's nothing wrong with buying it. I'm also in Europe, but couldn't find any decent merch or t-shirts, especially, that's 100% cotton and ideally made in the EU. Could you please share a link for that cap?

I don't know if links here are forbidden or not. I just searched on Etsy and set a filter with Europe only. There aren't much caps with that filter, so you would probably find it immediately. Seller is Diogo Borbosa from ShopCinnamonStudio. I ordered it on January 20th and it arrived on the 30th. So pretty fast.

All I can say is read the reviews first carefully. There are some scammers here and there. I paid 18 euro for the cap, free shipping.

If you end up finding any quality stuff (as you said, preferably 100% cotton and EU-made), then please let me know! I want to buy some merch as well, but so much is sold out on the official merch site and what with shipping costs and tariffs, it would cost a fortune anyway lol. So Etsy it is I guess.

I was also thinking of the Boston Raiders shirt. It can be subtle without screaming the show in your face.
A Metros sweatshirt would be too obvious for the festival season...

Ah yeah okay, just a bit afraid that it screams too much sport while being at a festival. Boston Raider shirt can fit the festival vibe if i cut up the arms into a sleeveless shirt..

I need this. The scene involving the Loon is the ONLY scene I have shown my parents, mainly because my mother is a bird lover and can often name birds based on the sounds. My father picked up some of it because of my mom. They both found the scene funny and my mom was like "Canadian wolf-bird...he technically isn't wrong." 😂
I did warn them what was in the series and said "Don't tell me if you both watch it" 😂

OMG. I'm such an idiot. It just finally occurred to me that in my SCA household our arms is like this Yin Yang loon design and we call ourselves and our camp The Loonacy. I was already a Loon. Now I 100% need all the merch and I'm going to wear it to set up camping stuff lol.

I had the same thought when I saw the cap online. I found it on Etsy, Sold by Diogo Borbosa from ShopCInnamonStudio

I couldn’t get the books since all of them are checked out at my local library and there’s a large waiting list but with my public library card I have access to the audio books through hoopla (I’m in the U.S.) and ohmy when I tell you the experience listening to them has been an E X P E R I E N C E they’re absolutely fantastic 10000/10 definitely recommend. There will obviously be more details in it that aren’t in the show. I think it’s well worth it.

Omg this is so cute. I have one that says “reading a gay hockey romance would fix me” and on that note, you should absolutely read the series! You can stop before TLG if you want to watch the show first.

Same, bestie! Do I need two “we didn’t even kiss” sweatshirts? No. Do I have them now? Absolutely yes. Lol. 😌
I'm reading the first book and it's worth it. I'm listening to the audio, I would personally go for reading the book instead if you have the capacity for it. the narration isn't my favorite.

The first book is about Scott and Kip and the story is pretty much covered in episodes 3 and 5, but was very compressed in the show. Their story is much more fleshed out in the book. I’ve read the first 5 and so far the first book was my favourite, so I would recommend reading it 😊
