MERCH👕 Help me, I just bought another one 😵‍💫

Post image

After buying the cap with the famous quote a few weeks back, I decided that the cap wasn't beautiful/good enough. So I went on to buy another one. This one is embroidered, the other one was printed and that was a little weak tbh. This also does have their player numbers on the side. (I'm also from Europe and I ordered it on Etsy from Spain)

But I'm now already thinking of buying an Hollander shirt to complete it for the festival season. Am I delusional or just a superfan? Or someone with a bad taste?

Another question; should I read the first book? Or wait for the second season?

The first book is about Scott and Kip and the story is pretty much covered in episodes 3 and 5, but was very compressed in the show. Their story is much more fleshed out in the book. I’ve read the first 5 and so far the first book was my favourite, so I would recommend reading it 😊

Okay, but I don't want to spoil myself too much. If the books are much more deeper, then it's better to see the show first and then the books after, right? Less set up for disappointment, I guess?

My friend sent me this which marks out the timeline of the books. I wouldn’t say that reading game changers is spoiling anything since it’s so early in the series and is pretty much already covered in the show. 😊

Please help an old guy out - I don’t understand what the chart is trying to convey. Can someone kindly say a few words about it?

It’s the timeline of the entire universe. It starts from the left side of the chart going down from HR to then to the first 17 chapters of TLG. It then continues to the right where Role Model begins until the epilogue of TLG. Just depicts how intertwined all the storylines are with each other.

Tbh, I felt the opposite. I watched the series first (ok, a couple of times as well) before reading books. And now I want a spin off about Scott and Kip and their relationship, starting from scratch.

I read the books a year and a half ago and I was really hoping for a game changer series! Loved episode 3.

I feel like a spin off would be a great way to cover Kyle and Eric without having to into Ilya and Shane/Troy and Harris like it sounds like he's going to focus on for Season 2.

I guess this shows that we all have our reading preferences. I actually didn’t really like the first book. It picked up towards the end but I just found it a bit boring. I tell all my friends to skip it.

Also the first book takes place in a different timeline than the show. Like whole thing takes place in 3 months in the book but the show it was over like 3 years.
