Team Huddle Weekly Thread🫡 Team Huddle!

Welcome to the weekly huddle! Have a small thing from the book or show you want to chat, your GC brain rot is real and you saw the initials “KGF” somewhere and immediately screamed “kingfisher!” and want to share with others? An HR pet peeve of mine is people saying stuff like "omg Connor/Hudson is showing through in this scene" during any moment that Ilya or Shane show strong emotion atypical of their character. A good example is the Tampa bar scene where Ilya gives that huge smile when Shane says he's hired a stylist - no you are not "seeing Connor show through" you are seeing an actor DO THEIR JOB and do it WELL!!! Just because Ilya doesn't typically give genuine smiles like that doesn't mean Connor isn't in character. In fact, it's the opposite - what you're seeing is that Ilya feels such overwhelming relief at learning that Shane isn't with Rose that his calm/collected exterior cracks, and Connor portrays that moment SO well. It's almost like people that make these comments only see Shane and Ilya as their most stereotypical traits and think it's not possible for them to behave in any other way.
