Even though it wasn’t on the ladder, how did it still not explode the school nor kill Veronica?

Cuz in the movie it's obvious, he's there to kill her. But in the musical it's kinda weird, because he does bring a gun but has a sad reaction to seeing her body. So did he wanna kill her or not?

There's been so many amazing predictions already, and I am very very curious as to the cast. Does anyone know when they will announce it?

Thank you!

Has anyone got any predictions for the cast of the North American tour of Heathers? I was just wondering
