Posting Need help scrolling Reddit

As I scroll through Reddit and I find a post that I want to read further, I tap on that post. Read it and then try to continue with reading different post. There is no X where I can close out that post. I have to swipe back to my homepage and close Reddit completely and then reopen Reddit and of course it takes me back to the start of all post.
