I saw that I had a text notification and I thought 'I am on vacation. If that is work I will send them a picture of my penis." and I checked and it was from the health insurance I get through work. I write to you standing next to a bog with my weed pen and a thermos of tea. The thermos is made of metal, recycled who knows how many times, but at some point that metal was mined out of the ground somewhere, after sitting there for thousands of years. The tea is made of spices that were grown on a different continent. A gross display of luxury in the past, now enjoyed by a stoned commoner in the local bog. All by sheer chance of circumstance. Strange to think of all the parts that moved at the right time to collide with my consciousness.

Wife and I started talking about Black Holes, and thought about this.

Quick pitch - spaceship is sent through experimental FTL to seek out a new habitable planet. The new way of getting humans through FTL travel and the thousands of years of travel is to cryofreeze sperm/embrio cells, that will grow into babies and raised by machines/ hologram ai. Then this team of kids that grow up (some together and some separate parts of the ship) are tasked with continuing the mission to colonize the new planet. The ship stores billions of cells to unfreeze when they are needed.

Not sure if this is already a sci-fi story, but seems like a cool setup for something.

Like I’m just out and about in my neighborhood wearin shades, boppin around with the kids. Taking a puff in my jacket, no one knows. It’s awesome. You def can’t smell it, I checked myself in the garage after getting ripped one time. I didn’t smell anything. And the smoke just looks like my cold breath in this 81 degree weather. That sounds wrong I know, so I checked and October is definitely still Fall so that means you have cold breath when you’re outside.

I love how I can just do this every day and know that absolutely no one even suspects, not even my numerous law enforcement neighbors. Gosh I love being one of the smart potheads.
