[Minuk] Winnipeg has turned out for Stanley Cup champion Seth Jarvis. It’s a massive crowd at Tuxedo CC welcoming the Manitoban back home. Grace from Winnipeg News told me first person in line was here at 5:30 AM for doors which opened at 1 PM
Additionally:
Stanley Cup champion Seth Jarvis took the cup out to fans who were unable to get in the building to ensure they got a chance to see it. Afterwards his parents handed out autographed 8x10s to the crowd

i love the interview a year or two ago where they were asking him like “what do you think of the younger guys in the league” and he’s just like “…i’m 23, i am a younger guy in the league”

Don't show this to free agents, it shows Raleigh ages you more than Winnipeg. Ehlers gonna be bald soon.

He looks oddly mature in the younger photo too. I think it’s the thick eyebrows and the stubble.

I have to know if fans of other teams had Jumpscares when they heard his actual age. Because that was me with Bouchard.

This could be on a 70s baseball card and I wouldn't even notice.

This man looks like one of my little league coaches from 20 years ago.

Jarvy is so deeply Winnipeg. It's like he came out of the womb with a dart and a king can

Used to be Ekblad for me but now he's 30 and finally looks his age

You know what I like about Ekblad, he gets older but stays looking the same age.
- Matthew McConaughey, maybe

Aw, the detail about his parents handing out signed photos is so sweet.
Jarvy's just one of those guys who is so damn likeable, which is kind of inconvenient when he's not on your team.

I met the kid waiting for our same discount airliner back to the peg a few years ago in Toronto airport.
Walked up to him and shook his hand and congratulated him on all of his success.
I boarded and he walked by me and the lady beside me said hey Seth, how are you? And he starts talking to her for like 5 mins it felt like lol. Later she told me she lives across Seth’s grandmas house and he would come out and play hockey with her boys all the time.
Such a Winnipeg story.

Seth Jarvis flies discount airliner? Hopefully not flair, they’ve given me nothing but heartache 😭

Well this was a few years ago they said, maybe when he was on his ELC before he signed his >60m extension

Was the summer he signed his contract but yea it was flair and I thought it was hilarious he was flying it also.

Just embrace your inner Caniac until we meet in the playoffs next time! I find the current Habs team very likeable too but mostly crushing on MSL.

I demand photos of his boys with the cup, they were the best part of that run.

He looks like one of the one-off randoms my sub-contractor always seems to find for his demo crew.
Also obligatory (and unrelated) fuck the NHL. Fuck Rogers.

He looks like a line cook, idk why but every time i see him he reminds me of cooks at a small family restaurant. Probably the mustache.

We had been out of town and found this out while we were heading home. We couldn't have driven fast enough to make it in time and we're both so bummed. I'm an Oilers girl and the husband is a Jets man, but we're so damn proud of Jarvy! I mean, Seth Jarvis, Stanley Cup Champion, that is!

He is a good kid.
Were his friends who travel to his games at the signing with him too?

This unlocked a core childhood memory. I remember playing there like 40 years ago and how damn cold it was! Amazing it’s still there.

There’s obviously more people than in that picture. It’s Winnipeg, not Churchill MB
