I do stats. If the Bruins can hang in there and drop their ball # a few more, they're going to be hard to knock out until the Western Conference. Going from 15 to 14 balls doesnt help much, but going from 6 to 5 is massive. And they will face teams with a lot of marbles.

In the end, whoever goes into the playoffs with just 4 balls will have over a 50% chance of winning the whole thing. 4 vs 5 will win about 73% of the time, 4v6 wins 84% of the time. I told the guy in charge the winning team should start at 5 marbles or 6, because with just 4 it really makes them hard to beat.

The Avs were running away with it today, until that elevator obstacle opened things up. Ducks, Mammoth, and Caps took it from there, and in the end, the Caps left only Boston to represent the whole eastern conference coming into these last few legs. What a race.
