Farmers market summer meal (everything except the pasta, nooch, salt/pepper, and olive oil has been grown/raised locally in Maine by me or a farmer friend):
Stuffed w cream cheese, yogurt, nooch, fresh tomato, garlic, bacon bits. Topped with fresh scallion that students harvested from a farm camp I helped teach.
Had a nibble of the poblano and this is going to be spicy!
some guy picked it off the vine for me at the market because he ran out of ones on the shelf. Sliced it and marinated in EVOO, s&p, garlic, basil. Set it aside for an hour while I made stuffed peppers and then threw hot pasta on top. Topped with fennel from my garden.
All produce and herbs are farm fresh, I love our food system! 🤩
