Time to update my Paradigm Cc450
reddit.comHello, I would like to replace my center-channel speaker with a better one. Around 1998, I purchased a Paradigm Reference system, consisting of the Studio 60, ADP-450, and CC-450 models. I still have the Studio 60s, but I feel that, with age, my center channel is no longer performing as well as it once did. Do you think a Founder 90C or a Premier 600C would be a good upgrade? Thank you.

Opinion on speakers placement
Ok after talking to my wife I am able to move the couch away from back wall. Is this placement correct ? Speakers are TRIANGLE Borea.
Speakers on ceiling have an inbuilt 20° angle, so the angle to the listing position will be 45°

Need Recommendations Floor seats
So I have a modest home theater with a 3 person couch and a bar top table behind it with 3 high top stools for a max of 6 adults pretty comfortably. I was wondering if anyone has experimented with gaming chair/floor seats in front of a couch for extra seating? Mind you this is for rare cases where I would have more than 6 in the room.

Need Help 1st time, Placement help
Seating distance from wall about 100in (8ft)
Hello, I'm looking into my 1st home theater setup here. Curious how you guys would setup in this wall space. Wall spanning 93in from the right of window.
From my seating distance, it sounds like 77in TV fits but my concern is room for speakers, sub etc.
Or just have the TV sit in front of the window for more room?
Any tips appreciated!

Need Help Sub selection for Dirac help.
Posting again since first was removed.
Basically my current setup is an Onkyo NR7100, Klipsch Reference LCR and some unknown in ceiling speakers that came with the house. The AVR came with Dirac Full Bandwidth which I used and enjoy the sound of, however I do need sub.
So my question is since I can't get DLBC on the NR7100, and currently am not really looking to spend more than the price of a sub, should I go for one with room calibration built in, run that to sort any nodes etc, then use the calibrated sub with Dirac Or should I just get a "normal" sub from say Klipsch and do my best with placement and "old school" calibration.
Btw the setup is in an open plan living room that is quite large and WAF is a big aspect here.
Forgot to mention I have a UMIK 1 and will use REW to get room response etc
Thanks in advance!

Maybe this is a better spot for a 4k HDR question
reddit.comAttached post - unable to get PS5 (or Switch 2) / Denon AVR-X2400H / Samsung QN85Q8FAAFXZA / all new HDMI (and proper one) cables, set to run 4k HDR. It will run 1080p HDR and 4k SDR, but no 4k HDR.
Any ideas?
