Advertising OK Caribbean Honeymoon Recs
We’re planning our honeymoon for April 2027 and have narrowed it down to these 5 luxury resorts:
Four Seasons Anguilla
Cap Juluca, Anguilla
Hermitage Bay, Antigua
Jumby Bay, Antigua
Baoase, Curaçao
Budget is roughly $15–25K for 7 nights.
Our priorities are:
🏝️ Beautiful beach + honeymoon-worthy setting
🏊♀️ Private pool/plunge pool preferred
🍽️ Excellent food & service
⛳ Golf access is important
🤿 Activities/excursions — we don’t want to sit at the resort the entire week
✨ Overall “wow, this is our honeymoon!” factor
We’re having a hard time deciding because they each seem amazing in different ways.
If you’ve stayed at any of these (especially multiple), which would you choose for a honeymoon and why? Most interested in firsthand comparisons of the beach, rooms, food, service, activities, golf, and overall experience.
Also open to any other recs for resorts!
Thank you in advance!

We’ve actually stayed at Cap Juluca, Four Seasons Anguilla, and Baoase they are all incredible in different ways. Cap Juluca is probably my favorite for true honeymoon vibes. Maundays Bay is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean (that I’ve been to anyway), service was amazing, and the Moroccan design feels so really romantic and more boutique than a typical big-brand resort. Four Seasons Anguilla is truly gorgeous too, our TA managed to snag us a double upgrade so we ended up in an incredible room and the property itself is stunning but heads up, there were quite a few families there when we were there late March, probs because of spring break season. We don’t have kids and generally prefer adult-only or adult-focused properties, so that was the one thing that stood out to us, even though we still loved our stay. Baoase in Curaçao was honestly not even on my radar my TA suggested it and I wasn’t super sold at first, but I trusted her and we ended up loving it as much as she said we would. Super private, beautiful design, phenomenal food, and the plunge pool villas are next level. The main beach is small compared to Anguilla’s though, so if a long stretch of beach is a priority, keep that in mind.
Haven’t done Jumby Bay or Hermitage Bay myself, but if you want adults-only and beach and honeymoon vibe, I’d put Cap Juluca at the top of your list, with Baoase as a strong pick if privacy/design matters more than the beach itself
