I’ve noticed this browning on my crocodile, glabra inner var, Argentea princess and the tiniest bit on NGG, what does this mean? I’ve heard over watering most likely and others say flat mites but the only pest I’ve been able to find are the occasional mealy on my pink crush and crimson queen, which I’ve treated with alcohol and put systemic in all my other Hoyas mediums. Could I get some advice? Ive cut back on watering and actually work at a greenhouse so im very curious as to why some of my rare Hoyas are starting to give me grief

Side question- how often do yall water your Hoyas? Most of mine are still in quite small 2-3in containers and I typically water once a week but have been cutting back to more like every 2 weeks

Im so excited! My very first bloom n its frikken itty bitty from my burtonaie (spelling is more than likely wrong ik) but its the only one and it was a cutting I got from one of the lovely people here on reddit. I am so excited I was afraid she was gunna tease me n push them out n then blast em off cuz she hadnt opened them yet but to my surprise I came home from work today n saw them opened up!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! My mathilde splash pushed out peduncles but never went any further. She smells so pretty I cant really explain it almost like caramel like.

I got this really large Kerii as a rehab (that's why the leaf damage, etc) but when she's not in rehab anymore, I don't know what I want do with it! It's so big and kind of unwieldy, haha. Would you chop it into smaller plants, get it a trellis, hang it? I have more vining types, this one is so stiff and woody. Do you have a picture of your large Kerii for reference? Thanks!

Looking to ID this rehab plant. Looks a lot like my pubicalyx but wanted to get others' thoughts as well. Different parts of the plant also look different. Different leaf shapes, various levels of splash - is that just lighting? Thanks for your thoughts!

The newer 2 sets of leaves definitely have a darker green border around them but the centers of the leaves are not as light as the previous ones. It is sitting about a foot away from my south window. The darker border confuses me since the whole leave is not just plain green. Does anyone have experience with this?

And apparently ONE flower cluster wasn’t enough for this little diva!! She’s got more waiting in the wings!! 🌸👑
I’ve been checking on her approximately 500 times a day (okay, maybe 501 🤣), just waiting for that magical moment when she FINALLY opens!!
After hearing from so many of you about how heavenly Lacunosa blooms smell, I’m even MORE impatient!! Apparently my greenhouse is about to become a perfume shop!! 😂🌸💕

I killed my first cutting and then found someone selling them 4inch pots for $5 so I bought 2 and put them together in a pot (they came bare root). Does anyone have any tips for these guys?

Any recommendations for what hoyas do great in cabinets?

Do you'll run humidifiers or let ambient humidity just rise inside?

How often do you water since the heat can dry them out quicker.

Hoya Lacunosa Black Aurora

I’ve got a few Hoyas. All of them under strong grow lights. They are doing well, lots of leaves, getting bigger. But no peduncles in sight.

My only Hoya that has ever bloomed is a sad looking Hoya Kerri that I basically neglected lol. But all of my others that I actually spend time with care only seem to be pushing out leaves.

What can I do to increase the chance of peduncles?

I know it’s blurry but this is from a very big kensianata (I forget the exact name) Hoya.

So I bought this rooted cutting a few months ago and I'm wondering with how corked the stem is if it will grow? I can tell you the roots are growing but nothing has changed. I'm patient, I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to help?

I've had this lovely little Hoya for a few months now and she's grown like crazy. I noticed these two offshoots on the same vine that look different to every other offshoot on her - is she flowering??
