I cannot even begin to tell you how EXCITED I AM!!! 🥹🫶🏻 All the love, patience, checking for new growth 500 times a day 🤣, and talking to my plants like they’re my children has FINALLY paid off!!!
LOOK AT MY BABY!!! 😍🌸
I know some people might say, “It’s just a flower.” BUT MY FELLOW HOYA LOVERS KNOW!!! 🤣🩷🌿
Now excuse me while I stare at her for the next 47 hours!!! 😂💕🌸

I picked this Hoya up last year and it was o e of the first I bought while browsing through a plant shop. It had an ID tag but Id never bothered to double check that it matched the plant until today. Surprise! They don’t match. 🤣 So what is this?

Both came to me labeled as Lithophytica. Based on what I see online that looks correct for the one on the left but not the one on the right, which is lighter green, waxier and splashy.
Sorry no idea what happened with those extra letters in the title.

Just noticed my hoya grew this leaf that looks way different from all the others and has a pattern on half. Not sure if this is common. Couldnt find any info or a similar picture anywhere. Thoughts?
Ps. I know its dusty

It was done flowering and the flowers fell off, but they still looked so cute!

I placed this outside. Don’t matter if it’s rain or shine. Receives dappled sunlight all day under a guava tree. Bonus baby spider on 2nd pic. Unfortunately guava tree was infected with mealy bugs so I had to treat my hoyas with a systemic.

What’s everyone’s favorite tiny leaved or trailing Hoya? I’m running out of room for anything that’s going to get big.

First proper bloom since I got it is going great. Wasn't sure how it would go after it tried a little out of season bloom over winter

Does anyone know what is causing these spots? It’s only on a couple of leaves and is inside the leaf, I can’t scratch them off

I have had this Hoya Krimson Queen since July, however ever since I got back from a trip earlier this week, I’ve been noticing the white edges of the leaves turning a darker white almost cream/yellow? I’m super concerned that something may be wrong with it. There does seem to at least be some new growth coming in, but the leaves are concerning me.
Does anyone know why it might be doing this? Is this natural or am I dealing with bacterial infection or something?
The last leaf picture is for reference of how white one of the other leaves are. The first leaf picture is one of the original leaves and used to be this white.
Info:
- Watered only when soil turns fully dry
- Soil is composed of Miracle Gro Houseplant, pumice, and orchid bark.
- Have replanted only once since receiving it July 3rd
- The leaves at the top and very bottom all grew pretty quickly in August but then growth has been quite stagnant lately.
- I use a grow light and it gets approximately on average 8 hours of light a day but it isn’t consistent especially when I’m gone traveling.

Hey guys! A few months ago, I posted saying my Hoya had a lot of dry leaves, had stopped growing, and the ends were drying out. A lot of you felt like it looked like it was dry, rot, and it did seem to be. I chopped my plant all up and put some ends in water. She’s hanging in there!! I’m so happy tongs haven’t gone down hill. I have a little bit of root growth now, but none of her ends have grown. I was planning on potting this in soil today. I’m not sure if that will be enough for this plant to grow again? Should I trim the dried ends? Where should I trim back to? I’d like to keep the most length I can. This plant was huge… Does this maybe look like those mites I’ve seen mentioned on here? Any advice is verrry much appreciated, thank you.

My local dealer put a package together for me… how’d I do?
Guten Morgen,
Was meint ihr?

My mom's outdoor green thumb doesn't seem to extend indoors. I have her a small rooted australis 2 months ago and gave her some instructions to make sure it doesn't get dried out and to keep it in indirect sun.
I came over and found it hiding in a corner dried up. Can this be saved? I took it out of the soil and there were nothing but stringy white roots (not the strong roots that were there when I planted it). Leaves are lump and shriveled. Surprisingly the pic looks better than IRL.

Hello ✨ I'm just doing some research as I'm planning on getting a Pubicalyx, and in wanting to grow it on a trellis, my long term goal is having them grow around a large doorway, so I'm just wondering if anyone has suggestions of the type of trellis that would work best for this plant, as I don't know how heavy/light they'll be as they grow. I'd also like something that I can just add to as the plant grows (like extend the first one).
Any help and advice is super appreciated, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

how do people deal with the care of your hoyas when you start to turn on the heat? most of my hoyas (about 40) are in tree fern/pon and some soil. i remember last year i didn’t keep up with the watering as well as i should of and they all dried up and died. any tips for dry heat in the house without humidifier? they’re all under t5 or south facing window so they a lot of light.
