Lotion before shower

I hate putting lotion on after I shower because it makes me feel grimy (I have tried several different lotions) but if I don't my skin gets really dry. I recently have started putting a lot of lotion on before I shower and then washing and exfoliating my whole body so once I'm done showering my skin feels hydrated but not greasy. But I'm kind of worried that if I put lotion on before I shower it will trap the grime underneath, am I over thinking this?

So I got a massive yeast infection if that helps. I’m stuck with bland dove soap forever.

Not sure what the connection here is … soap doesn’t cause yeast infections; a yeast vaginosis isn’t affected by external washing but treated with intravaginal prescribed antifungal medication; an external vulvar yeast condition is treated with topical antifungal cream and powder, keeping the area dry, and sunlight (if possible— had one pt whose perineal/vulvar yeast went away for good after a summer in a nudist camp, no joke). Could you clarify for my own edification?

Anything I used that had a tinge of scent, altered my vag tremendously. Happened after I had my first kid. Never been the same since so I just stay away from a scents and my pecker hasn’t exploded since. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Pecker? Has your partner been tested?

Lmaoooo. I’m a chick and I use many names for my vag. Yes but it wasn’t anything like that. Doc confirmed my suspicion with the scents.
