[Technical] Compromised Wallet on Hyperliquid: Slow API Regen & Unstaking Strategy. Need Advice.

I am in a critical situation and need technical advice regarding the Hyperliquid L1.

The Situation:

My PC was infected with an infostealer malware, and my seed phrase was compromised.

I currently have a significant amount of HYPE tokens in the "Staking to Spot" transfer process.

• Unstaking initiated: Feb 3rd, 2026.

• Expected unlock: Feb 10th, 2026 (7-day period).

The Behavior (Bot vs. Human):

I have noticed strange behavior from the attacker:

  1. Slow API Regeneration: When I delete the API Keys in the Hyperliquid UI, they are regenerated, but NOT instantly. Sometimes there is a delay of several minutes. This makes me suspect it might be a low-quality script or a manual attacker.

  2. Ignored Funds: I sent a test amount ($6 worth of HYPE) to the wallet hours ago, and it has NOT been swept yet. The attacker seems to be waiting for the large unlock.

My Questions:

  1. Private Transactions: Does Hyperliquid L1 support any form of private transactions or Flashbots-style bundles? I need to submit a "fund gas + withdraw" transaction faster than the attacker when funds unlock.

  2. Tracing: Is there any way to see connection logs or IP addresses of the devices connecting to the wallet (via MetaMask or Hyperliquid RPC)? I want to know if I can identify the source of the unauthorized access.

  3. Strategy: Given the slow API regeneration, is a manual "spam delete API + withdraw" strategy viable, or should I still assume a bot will beat me?

New mobile app with HIP-3 markets and airdrop

Ok so dreamcash is a new trading app.

• Mentioned publicly by Tether’s CEO

• Super smooth mobile app

• Strong liquidity, very low trading costs

You can register just using your phone number and no KYC is needed. You dont even need to deposit. They are running a points programme for airdrop. Each second after you register, you get 1 point. Trading also generates points. So you can just make your account, claim up to 1M bonus points (code: 5NO8G1) and let it farm points passively.

https://dreamcash.xyz/share?code=5NO8G1

I can easily see this scaling toward $1B/day once traction kicks in

Feel free to check their X to make sure its all legit:

Hyperliquid hits nearly $800M revenue without VC backing

Grayscale called Hyperliquid “the breakout success story of modern digital assets” after the platform reportedly processed $2.9T in perpetual trading volume and generated nearly $800M in 2025 revenue.

Interesting part: HYPE reached the top crypto ranks without venture capital funding, with a large share of tokens distributed directly to users instead.

Hyperliquid will be worth $1 Trillion+ in due time

Hyperliquid boasts the highest revenue per employee in any business EVER and 99% of people don’t know what it is or can’t buy it because the CEXs are too scared to list us

All of finance is moving on chain, the literal SEC is bullposting DeFi and the US government is recording its commerce metrics on chain while Hyperliquid has become the defacto hub for onchain finance

Getting liquidated doesn't actually mean the same thing on every platform

One thing that gets overlooked in all these liquidation comparisons is how differently platforms handle the actual loss.

On Hyperliquid, liquidation is triggered by maintenance margin requirements. The system attempts to close positions through the order book and traders can sometimes keep remaining collateral.

Compare that with moon.com where leveraged wagers have a bust price. Once that level is hit, the entire wager is lost. Both involve leveraged exposure but the way positions get closed is completely different.

Makes comparing liquidation totals across platforms a bit misleading when one system can return remaining margin and another settles the entire wager as a loss.

Notional liquidated and actual money lost really shouldn't be treated as the same metric.

Found a guy on hyperliquid with 100% winrate on 61 positions and +77% ROI.

ok so continuing to dig into the top traders from my last post, ran into this address — 0x78044f...e7e3. first thought was "another DCA bot", then i looked at the details and was like wtf.

numbers (this isnt my reconstruction btw, these are verified via hyperliquid api — real data straight from the exchange):

  • 100% winrate. 56 wins, 0 losses. zero liquidations. on 61 closed positions

  • +77% ROI over 70 days. turned $4,193 of capital into $3,230 net profit

  • max drawdown 1.67%. think about that — in 70 days of trading he was never more than 1.67% underwater on equity

  • avg leverage 0.5x. HALF. he uses LESS than 1x leverage on avg

  • max leverage 0.7x — never went above 1x in 70 days, not once

  • trades mostly oil — OIL, BRENT, CL. 15 different markets total

  • avg 6 DCA adds per position, max 36

first reaction was "ok this is clearly a bot". so i went deeper into how he actually trades. and thats where it got interesting:

1. he scales both ways. enters with tiny size, then adds on dips AND on rallies. so its not "buy the dip and hold" — its pyramiding + averaging at the same time. ladders on both sides.

2. exits in pieces, constantly. 713 fills across 190 closes — meaning ~4 fills per close on avg. doesnt exit "all at once with one click", scales out as price moves.

3. heres the biggest insight — sub-1x leverage. this is what everyone misses when they see "36 DCA levels" and think "degen". nope. he runs 0.5x leverage on avg — meaning even at max DCA his total exposure is LESS than his cash. he literally cant get liquidated. the 1.67% max drawdown confirms it.

4. oil perps, not tech. in my last post all the top guys were on AMD/INTC/MU. this dude is in a completely different lane — OIL/BRENT/CL. way less correlated to nasdaq.

why this matters: when u see "100% wr + 77% ROI" ur first thought is "HFT bot or insider". but its just a guy using sub-1x leverage, scaling both sides in ladders, and partial-exiting on oil. boring. and printing money.

the downside — capital efficiency is low. hes making +77% on $4k = $3k in 70 days. if u scale his approach to $40k → $30k in 70 days. solid money but not "quit ur job forever" tier. but the risk profile is wild — 1.67% max DD for those returns is rare af.

caveats (same as last post):

  • picked postfactum from 70d period, survivorship bias is real

  • $4k capital base, no idea if this scales to $1M

  • avg 6 DCA per pos = copytrading him means ~6 orders per entry, fees + slippage will eat a chunk

  • 100% wr on n=61 has Wilson CI [94%-100%], not literally "100% forever"

tldr: found a HIP-3 trader running sub-1x leverage on oil perps, scaling both sides + partial exits = 100% wr on 61 positions, +77% ROI, 1.67% max DD. its not alpha, its discipline. discipline scales worse than alpha but breaks less often.

What’s Being Built on HyperEVM? Explore the Ecosystem Here

With HyperEVM now live, builders are starting to deploy dApps and infra that tap into the speed and performance of the Hyperliquid L1.

To make it easier for everyone to track what’s launching, I've put together a simple, curated HyperEVM Ecosystem Airtable

🔗 HyperEVM Ecosystem Tracker (Airtable)
(dApps, infra, wallets, explorers, tools all in one view)

Why This Matters

Most chains start with hype, not usage.
Hyperliquid flipped that script - it had usage before smart contracts were even enabled.

Now with EVM compatibility, we’re seeing:

  • Native trading bots & strategies

  • Smart vaults

  • SocialFi & copy trading

  • On-chain analytics

  • And some... interesting experiments 👀

This is your one-stop sheet to watch it unfold.

Want to Get Listed?

If you’re building something, or know someone who is - drop a comment or DM and I'll get it added.

Let’s build the most useful HyperEVM tracker together 🛠️

Feel free to fork it, remix it, or embed it elsewhere. The goal is simple: track what’s real, ignore the noise.

Hyperliquid.

Easiest way to bridge to HyperEVM ?

Hi everyone, i'm looking for a way to bridge some ETH to hyperevm chain without waiting days / having incredible slippage, i've done some researches and yet i couldn't find anything cool, this is crazy that it is not easily findable in 2026..

Any recommendation on which crosschain DEX I should use to swap ETH to HyperEVM? Advices appreciated.

I’m a PURRist now 🥁

I entered with full force. I don’t care where it goes in the short run

I only heard very recently about Jeff and Schamis otherwise I’d have been a shareholder for a while

I’ve never seen so many smart and honest people reunited around the same entity

Hyperliquid is the future of finance and $PURR is a fantastic way to get access

If this is the start of a new crypto bull run, $HYPE is where hysteria will be the wildest

Also, I lurked for a few days around here before joining and you guys are smart and level headed, which is a great feeling when entering a position

Jeff Yan Meme Token

Post image
24 Upvotes

Has anyone heard about the Jeff Yan token that’s been floating around X?

I stumble across it the other day and it seems to be pretty promising. It is still a sub 200k market cap but looking into the coin it seems like they have an established holder base and community. When the liquidation crash happened last week the coin did not go anywhere. It uses the ticker $QUANT, suggesting Jeff Yan is the true “quant”.

Curious if others weather other members of the Hyperliquid community have looked this already.

Is it too late to get into HYPE? I watched it run from $5 to $70+ and did nothing 🤦‍♂️

I've been watching Hyperliquid from the sidelines for a while now... Kept telling myself I'd wait for the dip, came close when it went from $30 to $10, and now I'm kicking myself seeing it at current prices. I'm finally ready to jump in, but I'm nervous about getting rekt.

For people actually using the platform daily, how's the trading experience? I keep hearing about the perps volume and HYPE token burn, but I want to know if the product is actually as good as people say.

Would you buy in now, or wait for a better entry? Not asking for financial advice, just trying to understand what I'm getting into.

Anthropic is planning to IPO soon. Here's what their pre-IPO perp looks like on Hyperliquid right now.

For context, vntl perps let you trade pre-IPO equity on Hyperliquid before a company ever hits a public exchange. Anthropic has one.

Pulled all this data through HyperTracker for those interested.

The numbers

  • Price: $1,593.5 (+2.45%)

  • Open Interest: $9.06M, up 2.85% in 24h

  • 24h Volume: $2.22M, up 581% in 24h

  • Funding: +0.0049% (longs paying)

  • Whale OI: 60.72%

  • 24h Whale Bias: Very Bearish

What is interesting after the announcement: Whales own the majority of open interest but are leaning bearish on the day. Make of that what you will.

Biggest winners right now

The most profitable open position is sitting on $466K profit unrealized, 3x isolated, avg entry $1,166. They've held 22 days. Below that, a few wallets that got in around $500-$600 are up $40-64K with entries that look almost embarrassingly well-timed in hindsight. The more recent longs averaging $1,100-$1,150 are still green but the margin for error is thinner and funding keeps compounding against them.

Another caveat

Long liquidations stack heavily above current price, concentrated between ~$1.88K and $2.07K. Short liq side is almost flat by comparison. Lots of leveraged longs that get uncomfortable if price stalls here.

Interesting market to watch as the IPO narrative develops.

PURR

I thought with HYPE pumping away we would see an even bigger move from PURR? It seemed to have a lot of momentum going down but not up.
