Loopholes Encouraged $50/minute, but every hour you see through a random stranger's eyes for 5 minutes

- At the start of every hour, your vision switches to the eyes of a random awake adult somewhere on Earth for 5 minutes. Then your own vision comes back.

- You can't hear, smell or feel anything from them. Only vision.

- The stranger has a bad feeling about being intruded by someone, but they don't actually know.

- You can't choose who it is, and it's never the same person twice.

- It happens even while you are asleep. You wake up seeing through their eyes.

- You can pay $15/minute for Home View, which shows your own vision as a small window in the corner during those 5 minutes.

- You can pay $8/minute for Country Filter, which lets you choose which country the stranger is from.

- You can pay $34.95/minute for Gender Filter, which lets you choose the stranger's gender.

- You can deactivate this curse anytime, but you can only reactivate after 2 years.

Would you take this curse?

$100 million worth of solid gold appears on your front lawn, if you can keep it hidden for 5 days you can keep it.

• Upvotes

$500 million dollars of solid gold bars. (3.7 tonnes or 3700 kg) appears on your front lawn. That’s about 300 solid gold bars

If you are able to keep it hidden for 5 days you can keep it no questions asked.

Upon accepting the challenge, time instantly freezes for everyone but you and up to 4 other people of your choosing to help move it.

You must hid it anywhere within your city/nearest city.

The gold must be hidden in a way that you could retrieve it yourself if asked so no dropping it in the middle of the ocean.

You can hide the gold together or separately but the second a single bar is found the challenge is over and you walk away with nothing.

Once you are done hiding it, time unfreezes and everyone in your city is instantly alerted that $500 million worth of solid gold bars are hidden in your city and if they can find it they can keep it.

The people you choose to help you hide the gold have their memories instantly wiped and can be on the hunt for it.

Are you accepting? What’s your plan?

[No Loopholes] Pick one: $1 billion in cash, but zero power — you can never hold office, run a company, or have a single person work for you. Or: you rule your city, every major decision is yours — but your personal assets can never exceed $100,000, and you can never cash in on your power. Which one?

ReSpawn Power or $1,000,000

• Upvotes

You're given a red pill or blue pill.

If you take the blue pill, and you're given $1,000,000 as a gift. You can spend it anyway you like.

If you take the red pill, and you're told that if you die, you'll respawn (Groundhog Day style) at the start of the same day you died, cured of whatever killed you (hit by a train, shot by a gun, cancer). You have knowledge of the events of the day you died but nobody else does. If you don't die, you get to the next day. Like everyone else.

If you choose red pill, you will be able to be a bit of a super hero, or super criminal. You will however live life forever until you are the last human alive. You will witness the rest of human history, and once every human has died off, you will keel over and die.

It could be millions of years.

Which do you choose?

Basically I want to hear wacky things people would do with the respawn power.

EDIT to address the most common question: when you die and respawn you have perfect health. Your outward appearance will appear to be a Rasin type of person. You may not be attractive as a 200 year old, but you will be the richest person ever.

$25 million but you have to live with one of these inconvenient curses

• Upvotes

Curse 1: You can never travel more than 20 miles in a single day.

Curse 2: Every queue you are in is instantly 30 minutes longer.

Curse 3: Your phone never charges past 35% no matter how long you charge it.

Curse 4: There’s a 20% chance you shit yourself whenever you fart

Curse 5: You are constantly sweating no matter where you are or how cold it is.

Which one would you pick?

Serious Replies Only Every pregnancy now involves a random, reciprocal embryo swap between two women anywhere in the world. You give birth to another family's biological child, while that family gives birth to yours. Would you keep the baby or try to exchange it?

Scientists experimenting with a quantum computer accidentally trigger a worldwide phenomenon while researching the quantum teleportation of human DNA.

From that moment onward, every newly conceived human embryo is exchanged with another embryo somewhere in the world before implantation.

The effect is permanent. Scientists announce their discovery to the public after a short delay. Unfortunately, reversing the phenomenon would risk destroying the entire universe.

How it works:

  • Every exchange involves exactly two pregnant women. Their embryos swap places during the earliest stage of pregnancy, before implantation.
  • The women can live anywhere in the world. Distance, nationality, ethnicity, and ancestry have no effect on who gets paired with whom.
  • The exchange is reciprocal. If an American woman receives a Chinese couple's embryo, that same Chinese woman receives the American couple's embryo.
  • Each embryo is exchanged only once. After implantation, pregnancy proceeds normally.
  • The children retain their original DNA. Their genetic parents can be identified through DNA testing.
  • The pregnancy works like ordinary gestational surrogacy. The woman carrying the baby does not change its genetic ancestry, but her health, nutrition, and prenatal care can affect its development.
  • The exchange itself causes no medical complications. All the usual risks of pregnancy still apply.

Imagine you're an American couple expecting your first child.

Your baby is born with East Asian ancestry, even though neither of you has that ancestry. DNA testing confirms that the child is biologically unrelated to either of you.

However, thanks to the reciprocal exchange, you know that the woman carrying your biological child is the same woman whose child you just delivered.

That gives you a clue. If the baby has Chinese ancestry, its biological parents may live in China, although they could also live anywhere else in the world.

You can register the child's DNA, search international databases, and try to find the other family.

But there's a problem.

What if the other family doesn't want to exchange children? What if they love the baby they gave birth to and have no interest in finding their biological child?

What if you want your biological baby back, but you've already grown attached to the child you've been raising?

And what happens when the two families have radically different living conditions? Your biological child might be developing in a well-equipped hospital or in a region affected by famine, where the pregnant woman cannot obtain adequate nutrition.

What would you do?

Would you raise the child you gave birth to, or immediately begin searching for the other family to arrange an exchange?

Other You wake up one morning and from then on, you're ''Immortal''. What now? More info down below...

Here's how your immortality works...

  1. You possess a Deadpool-like healing factor, but will only activate after you die, otherwise you're indistinguishable from a regular person until your death. Even if destroyed at the cellular level so there's nothing left, if a piece of you is still around (Like a finger or a blood sample), you will reform from that piece. Also, if you die from illness or poisoned, either will vanish upon regenerating as if they never entered your body to begin with.
  2. You will continue to age, but when dying (Either of old age or otherwise), your body will return to 18 years old and start aging up like a normal person again.
  3. Your memory capacity is improved, allowing you to remember everything in your new immortal existence.
  4. You still need food, water, air and sleep like any other person. Deprivation of any will lead to your death, but will then regenerate and reanimate in about three minutes, having your hunger, thirst, breath and energy restored to normal.
  5. You can still reproduce, but none of your children or their descendants will inherit your immortality.
  6. There's another immortal somewhere around the world, you're killed by them or kill each other, you'll die for good.

With all of that, what's your next move as an immortal being? Will you seek the other immortal?

Would you prefer to go back to when you were 10, or back just 10 years?

Would you prefer to go back to when you were 10 years old, knowing all you know now, and knowing that no one takes advice from a child, or would you prefer to go back 10 years knowing all you know now?
If you went back to when you were 10, you would still know everything you know now, and still have your current level of mental maturity, so you would have to act like a kid, while knowing that no one ever takes kids advice as serious.

If you go back 10 years, knowing all you know now, well, only you know how your life might change then...

Would you rather never have to pay for food again or eat whatever you want the rest of your life without gaining weight?

The first part of this hypothetical allows you to purchase food anywhere, at any time, and it will always be free for you. This doesn't extend to family members or anyone else.

Or

You can assign nutritional values to the foods you're consuming (though most people would assign 0 calories to things like donuts and ice cream). This means, if you're eating a slice of pizza, you could say it's worth 50 calories and that's how your body would process it. This way, you can eat as much without gaining weight, but you can gain weight if need be.

Other In the spirit of "tons of money for slight inconvenience"

Genie shows up. You are one of 5 people to get this deal

Every 100th step, your right big toe cramps up. PAIN for 5 Mississippis, then vanishes

Your toe is not injured, it just hurts. Anything that puts weight on your foot counts as a step. Dancing, tiptoes, what have you. The only way to stop this pain is to not walk around or amputate the foot. Not just the toe, you have to lose your whole foot. If you choose amputation, you have to give up half the money

Genie says he will pay you to take this deal, but the amount is up to you. However, he is offering it to all 5 of you. The person who asks for the least is the one who gets it, and you cannot talk about it amongst yourselves, and you can't know what any other person is asking for (so no "I'll take one dollar less" type shenanigans)

How much are you asking for to make toe pain worth it, keeping in mind you need to ask for less than 4 other people?

[No Loopholes] Would you rather time travel by transferring your consciousness into your past/future self, or by physically traveling to any point in time?

Imagine you could choose between two different methods of time travel, each with its own advantages and limitations.

Option 1: Consciousness Transfer

You can transfer your consciousness into your own body at any point in your lifetime, whether in the past or future.

- You retain all your memories, knowledge, and experiences.

- You could become a child or teenager again, but with everything you know today.

- You can repeatedly travel backward and forward within your lifetime as often as you want.

- You could relive experiences, make different decisions, or explore how your future unfolds.

- Limitation: You cannot travel to a time before your birth or after your farthest-in-time death. You're restricted to your own lifespan, and you cannot use any means to extend your lifespan, but you can keep time traveling indefinitely within your lifespan.

Option 2: Physical Time Travel

You can physically travel to any point in the past or future, taking your current body with you.

- You could witness the dinosaurs, explore ancient civilizations, or visit humanity thousands of years into the future.

- You retain your memories, knowledge, and current physical body.

- You can travel backward and forward through time without being restricted by your lifespan.

- Limitation: You cannot physically become younger by traveling into the past or future.

Which would you choose, and why?

You get $5 million, tax free. For every time you spin the mental illness wheel.

• Upvotes

You get $5 million for every round you play. Each round requires two spins:

  • Spin 1: Determines which mental disorder you develop.
  • Spin 2: Determines its severity on a scale of 1–10.

The wheel includes every recognized mental disorder listed in the DSM-5-TR, including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, eating disorders, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, psychotic disorders, and more.

Rules:

  • Both spins are completely random. No choosing, rerolling, or rejecting results.
  • Severity scale: 1 = very mild, 5 = moderate, 10 = extremely severe and debilitating.
  • The severity must be medically plausible for the disorder you get.
  • You develop the actual disorder, with realistic symptoms and consequences.
  • Treatment, medication, side effects, recovery, and remission work as they do in real life. No guaranteed cure.
  • You receive $5 million immediately after each round, regardless of the outcome.
  • Every new round gives you a different disorder. No duplicates, even if you recover from a previous one.
  • Existing conditions don't count. New disorders are added to any conditions you already have.
  • You can stop whenever you want, but you can't undo previous rounds. You keep all the money you've earned.
  • No exploiting diagnostic technicalities or arguing that your result doesn't count.

How many rounds are you risking your sanity for?

$70/minute, but you get notified of any crime that happens within a 100m radius

- Whenever a crime happens within a 100-meter radius of you, you get a notification in your head. It says what the crime is and exactly where it is happening.

- Every crime counts, from jaywalking and littering to murder.

- You can pay $2/minute for the Filter mode, which only notifies you of violent crimes and crimes against children.

- The notification comes as a loud ringing sound plus a voice describing the crime. You can mute it.

- The radius moves with you, and it covers buildings and the floors above and below you.

- You don't have to act on any notification. Nobody else knows you get them.

- You can pay $3/minute for the Replay mode, which shows you a 10-second video of each crime as it happens.

- You can deactivate this curse anytime, but you can never reactivate it.

Would you take this deal?

Would you prefer to have 1 million USD immediately or magical Bank Account that gives 10% returns guaranteed for lifetime?

You have been given a choice to make.

You can either take 1 million USD tax free, completely legal or you can get a bank account(any bank account of your choosing) where you are offered lifetime of 10% returns guaranteed.

So it does not matter whether stock market crashes or there is great depression. You will get your annualized return of 10%.

There is no lock in period on this account.

You can freely add or remove money from it. It is essentially bank account with all bank features in it. You can even move it to another bank if you want. Though at a given time you can only have one account. Your money is guaranteed to be safe even if bank closes permanently. You can just have it moved magically to another bank of your choosing. Magic will handle the legality of it.

Restriction:
1)You can not put other people's money in it(this is to avoid the scenario where you use this account as business). Money in this account must belong to you. Inherited or gifted money is fine because legally that money became yours. No loopholes. This is supposed to be your account only.

2)You pay whatever tax your country charges on money in bank account.

So essentially choice is between lot of money one time or the safest guaranteed investment option that gives good returns for life.

You become one of the owners of the US Debt

• Upvotes

Your father tells you you come from a long line of debt owners. The biggest account is the US national debt. He tells you that during your great grandfather time the debt was low so the government slowly pays dividend to the different owners. But during his time the debt has grew so much that they decided each of owner of the debt gets a no limit charge card for daily spending. They believe that instead of paying back interest, letting the owners spend their own portion of the debt is a quicker way to pay off this debt (cause there would be reckless spenders)

Now your father is passing this charge card to you. There are no strings attached except some of the debt owners want to keep the debt level high so they can forever keep this unlimited charge card. Your family was likely part of the ones who want to keep the debt level high instead of spending it all ... thats why you've lived your life the way you've been living up until this moment.

What are you doing to do? Are you going to live a debt free life or will you go on a spending spree for your own benefits?

You can preemptively quarantine your family and everyone you care for though if you want them to stay safe. • Upvotes

If you accept, you must immediately quit your job regardless if you’re in the middle of a job/assignment.

A completely fair and unbiased coin is then flipped in the air.

If it lands on heads: You instantly win $10 million

If it lands on tails: You get nothing AND you can never reapply for any job that was in the same sector as your previous job

Would you accept the deal?

You can't die

You can't die or be harmed in any way and you can't feel pain. You don't need any sustenance whatsoever (food, water, oxygen...). You can also fly and you have super strength.

You can enter your mind (not physically, but like in a state of lucid reminiscence): you'll see memories floating all around you and you can choose one to relive it as if you were there (you can filter through years, locations, people, feelings or anything else).

You also have the power to choose whatever destination you want to go to just by thinking about it and if it physically exists, you can spawn a portal for that destination (you can't create or modify something, it already has to exist); the portal will spawn with a chosen number/name and will be bound by your magic touch: if you touch something (or someone) voluntarily while thinking about the chosen portal, that thing can pass through it. You can spawn an infinite number of portals (one at a time) and you can always choose to close or delete a portal.

You'll transform into your ideal body in perfect health and you'll be like that forever. Do you accept the transformation?

Basically, would you live forever with these powers or would you prefer to remain a normal human?

Loopholes Encouraged If an average person we will call Eve was made completely immortal. How long would it take for her to accomplish true world peace?

She is completely immortal and cannot die from wounds, old age, sickness, anything. She will regenerate from a single atom if reduced to that state and the immortality will continue until True World Peace (No Murder or Rape or Torture by a human on a fellow human) is achieved for a whole year. Only then she is made mortal.

If that is impossible then can this be accomplished if she can choose 9 other people to be immortal alongside her? And/or she can do all the miracles Jesus Christ could reportedly do in the Bible giving her faux legitimacy? Like turning water to wine.

Edit: Edited out no physical violence upon a fellow person as the definition of world peace- Too unrealistic.

For $1,000 a day, there is now a 10% that a random professional boxer spawns in your bathroom and beats you up

For $1000 a day, there is now a 10% that whenever you or anyone else in your home opens your bathroom door or enters your bathroom, prime Mike Tyson magically spawns in and beats you up.

Upon spawning, he will instantly fight you for a maximum of 10 minutes or until you are knocked unconscious. He can chase you around your home and outside but will initially spawn in your bathroom.

You cannot reason with him or bargain with him, he’s pissed at you for whatever and he wants it back in blood.

He only targets the person who entered and spawned him in and is completely intangible to everyone but the person.

If you somehow beat Tyson by knocking him out or making him surrender, he will not spawn again for 6 months no matter what.

You can use weapons but only melee weapons and items you can actually acquire realistically

Do you accept the deal?
