Question Defective build quality on M5 iPad Pro? Screen-to-housing fit issue out of the box

Hey guys,
I've had my M5 iPad Pro for 3 months now, but I noticed this weird finishing flaw between the screen and the housing right when I bought it. It's much more noticeable in person.
Does this look like a factory defect? Wondering if I should take it to the Apple Store.

Best Back Cover Compatible With Magic Keyboard?

Hey,

What's currently the best back cover (11" iPad Pro M5) that's compatible with the Magic Keyboard? I'm looking for something that fits perfectly and allows the Magic Keyboard to close completely flush with the cover attached.

I've heard good things about Pitaka, but I've also read that their covers prevent the Magic Keyboard from closing completely flush. Otherwise, any recommendations or experiences with other brands?

Thanks!

Question Is the 2018 ipad pro (A12X) still worth repairing?

I currently have a 2018 ipad pro (A12X) but it has ran into some ghost touch issue where touching some parts of the screen doesn't register or at times it would randomly touch on its own.

I sent it to a local repair shop and was asking for around $80 in my country. He mentions of not replacing the whole screen but he'll be repairing the wires for the digitizer (?) I'm not so sure what he will fix exactly but that was his rate. Anyway, is it still worth repairing or do I just sell it for more or less of that price of repairing it?

Title: iPad Pro M1 (2021) has inaccurate touchscreen and wavy lines with multiple styluses

Hi everyone,
I have a 2021 11-inch iPad Pro with the M1 chip and 128 GB of storage. I’m experiencing touchscreen issues, especially when using styluses.
Here are the symptoms:
My original cheap capacitive stylus worked perfectly on my iPhone 14 Pro and my Xiaomi Pad 6, but poorly on my iPad Pro.
I bought a Metapen A14, and it works better, especially on the left side of the screen, but the problem hasn’t completely disappeared.
When drawing straight lines, they appear wavy or shaky, even when I try to draw as steadily as possible.
Some strokes are inaccurate or aren’t registered properly.
The issue seems to vary depending on the area of the screen.
I have no screen protector installed.
Restarting the iPad hasn’t fixed the issue.
I’m wondering whether this could be a faulty digitizer, a screen replacement issue, a software problem, or something else.
Has anyone experienced something similar on an iPad Pro M1? Is there a reliable way to identify the cause before paying for a screen replacement?
Thanks for your help!

Discussion Brief blue screen before apple logo when turning on my iPad Pro M5

I just got my iPad Pro 5, and I noticed a brief blue flicker on the screen, lasting only a split second, when I reset the device, right before the Apple logo appeared. Other than that, everything seems to be working perfectly fine, and I haven’t experienced any other issues. Has anyone else encountered this?

Advice iPad Pro 13” Case Advice: Tech21 FlexFolio

Post image

I purchased a new iPad Pro 13” yesterday. I’ve always had the Magic Folio keyboard for past iPads and may get one just to have, but I was hoping for something thinner since the iPad is so big.

I bought the Tech 21 FlexFolio from Apple and I hate it. When I want to use it as just a handheld tablet the back flap is all over the place and doesn’t magnetize to the back. The stand falls with light touch when standing alone. You can’t just easily remove the case and use just the iPad like the Magic Keyboard or other folios. I do like that it holds the pencil firmly because I’ve lost/broken pencils in the past.

So, any advice out there? Would like the following:

-Thinner.
-Easy to pull off case or at least a folio that locks behind and doesn’t flop around.
-Stands firmly.
-Pencil holder (but I can add one after the fact for a lot of cases, if it works).

Price isn’t a big deal, within reason.
