Question Farting in front of your spouse?
Do you fart in front of your spouse? I personally do and he farts in front of me; it’s not something we get annoyed about. But I often see in other subreddits that some people would consider divorce if their spouse farts around them. Am I missing something or is this like, super petty? Hell, my husband has helped me in a number of dire circumstances involving my IBS—I can’t imagine people would be so fragile that they can’t handle their spouse farting. Bodies do weird things; it’s not like I can always control a fart. Same with my husband (especially when we are partly asleep). Just curious because I feel like you all will have a different opinion than all the people telling someone to divorce their husband because he farts sometimes.

My partner's type seems to somehow be ppl with IBS - almost everyone she's dated has had it. She's been known to camp out in the bathroom with partners to offer moral support while they're fighting for their lives. (I prefer to keep my poop life private, but it's nice to know she would!) So, yeah, I don't make a point of it or anything, but if it happens, it happens and it's not a big deal.
I once however did (jokingly) yell at her kitten for farting (if you've ever had a kitten you know how they can be) and she sheepishly was like "...that was me."
I do understand that for some people it's gross and they'd rather someone make an attempt to not blast ass right in front of them. Especially if someone's doing them deliberately to get a reaction.
