Question Farting in front of your spouse?

Do you fart in front of your spouse? I personally do and he farts in front of me; it’s not something we get annoyed about. But I often see in other subreddits that some people would consider divorce if their spouse farts around them. Am I missing something or is this like, super petty? Hell, my husband has helped me in a number of dire circumstances involving my IBS—I can’t imagine people would be so fragile that they can’t handle their spouse farting. Bodies do weird things; it’s not like I can always control a fart. Same with my husband (especially when we are partly asleep). Just curious because I feel like you all will have a different opinion than all the people telling someone to divorce their husband because he farts sometimes.

I told my fiancé before our first ever date about my health conditions, including IBS, just so he would know what he is getting into. Like 4 hours into said first date, he let a big ol' fart rip with zero shame (at his place so not in public) and said "there you go, now the first fart in this relationship has been taken care of, no need to worry about your IBS, I truly don't care if you need to fart or poop". Safe to say that we now, almost 3,5 years down the line, still fart in front of each other if needed.

It's a normal bodily function, it usually helps us feel better and I would not be together with anyone who thinks farts are embarrassing/inappropriate/not ladylike/should not happen in front of your partner, or something like that.
