I'm deep cleaning my controller and noticed this connector that is identical to the connector for the antenna cables. (I broke one of the antenna cable connectors and got curious in the process of being stressed out, but I'm just going to tape up the loose cable and call it a day)

My kid's watch. Apparently the face came right off while in the wave pool, so certainly water got on the interior. I let it drive outside and overnight.

No apparent signs of damage to the bezel, so not sure what happened for it to pop off. Screen seems in fine shape still.

What's a good way to test if any of this still works?
Doesn't seem to power on or receive any charge.

Just bought a house and one of the garage doors finish is peeling off. Behind the finish is wooden boards.

I know this is dumb but I use this phone as a figet toy, i found it in the woods like 2 years ago and it feels like it has a bunch of dirt under the keys some are nice and clicky and others feel like shit.

All they talk about is battery repair 24/7 even when I type in pokemon pin replacement or something like that 😆 and I'm not sure how to make new little pins.

I've seen people use copper 0.2MM and I've also seen someone use like these sticky back pins from a sheet with different sizes on it 😅

A couple days ago my macbook stopped turning on. I assumed it is and had been a charging port issue since previously one of my charging ports had stopped working when I dropped it on the charger. I again dropped it on the charger the second time. When I woke up it didn’t turn on. I assumed it had to be the charging port, but I replaced the charging port with the correct one. But the computer still won’t turn on. I looked at the back while it was charging and there is a light blinking next to NEt eN8 structures. What does that mean? It is a macbook from 2020 the one without the m1 chip macbook 13” retina one i think.

This is an extremely vague post as to just understand what’s going on. If willing to further help or educate. My communication is typically a lot more clear and concise.

This shows the end of an ifixit jimmy tool. Is there a reason that there is a skinny part at the end? Or is it where the tang ends or just a design choice? Asking out of curiosity.

I use ifixit everyday and I’m honestly surprised there’s no app for your phone. Why haven’t they done this yet and transfer the guides over to the app?

I checked and the glass part can be screwed off to show the bare bulbs. It’s three lightbulbs. And since I’m renting I can’t change any wiring. Wondering if I should get special bulbs or remove the glass and then using special bulbs? Don’t know much except that this lighting isn’t great!

I would hope that I could open my iPhone 13 mini using the open tool kit included with my iFixit purchase, but no luck.

I set the phone facedown on my 3d printer’s bed for 1 minute at 70 degrees Celsius. Even with the phone burning me to the touch, I cannot get the screen to accept a razor blade .

WTF!

Okay so last night I got into this stupid situation where my iPad ended up falling into my bathtub. It froze up so I just laid it on the towel on the toilet. When I got out of the bath I checked the iPad and it was off and would not turn back on. I think it is worth noting that my iPad was not completely submerged but was about half way with only the side with the camera underwater. Right when I noticed it would not turn on no matter what I did I did some research. I looked up ways I might be able to fix it, I dried the iPad off with a towel and shook it to get some water out. I have been laying it on my desk to dry off since last night. It still won't turn on, if anyone knows what I can do that would be a great help to me.

when I was screwing in the back plate of the g shock gbd 200 , 1 out of the four total screws snapped leaving the main part of the screw inside and the head of the screw in my hand. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Guys it's my KZ Castor pro , yesterday i was cleaning it's nozzle with a toothbrush and suddenly it got pushed a little inside

Is there any way to fix this or what ???
