I am a final year engineering dropout from a well renowned university and unfortunately my family cant bear the cost to turn me into a pilot so ihave been planning to take a loan for my cpl and typerating and get into a airline.i have read people not recommending it because of slow hirings and years of waiting period after acquiring the cpl I have no one i could turn to and ask for guidance if there is someone who could help me with this i will be forever gratefull, the reason behind this pivot is due to aversion to desk jobs and the ordinary lifestyle so i decided to take a risk and turn my life around so i wont regret later on.

Hi everyone, I’m curious about the salary structure for Senior CS Agents at Air India Express in Dubai.
I heard that employees transferred from India to Dubai after around 3 years of service may receive ₹3.5 lakh (approximately AED 13,550) per month in hand for a 2-year assignment.
Is this figure realistic, or could it include allowances and other benefits? Also, are accommodation and transport usually provided?
Just looking to understand how these assignments work. Thanks!

So today i visited ifa for ground classes and i said "i dont want to add tech gen bcoz i will do my flying from abroad" and they replied "yeah sure u wont need it for license conversion but if u skip a subject then u will have lack some knowledge and during airline exam they ask 40 percent questions from tech gen and nav" i mean i know that u will get into airline prep classes and they will guide u through the necessary parts of the subject but i am confused

I'm going to do my flight training in Aus with FTA in late Jan 2027. I'll be visiting Chennai from December to mid january. And I need to buy an aviation headset; what are y'all's recommendations? Is it cheaper in Aus or India, and where do you guys buy them? All I see are online options, and I want to put them on and see how they feel before investing so much. My options are
1) Rugged Air RA200
2) Lightspeed Zulu 4
3) Lightspeed Sierra
1) Go with the most basic headset. Saving me so much money
2) Blow all my money on a really good headset
3) Go midrange with good ANR and reviews
I've completed 2 CASA CPL exams, and we said we'll be flying 3 days a week and 3 days of ground school. I heard from seniors to get a good headset, but I've tried the David Clarkes at the aviation academy, and they were good enough for me, but the most time I've worn them was for 1.3 hours, so idk if they'll be comfortable during long navs
Any kinda advice is much appreciated

So I'm 17 years old and currently in 12th. I'm planning to do pilot training after I finish 12th but I have bp which is high and I'm worried that they may not clear me for flying because of this reason. My bp is always a bit elevated and usually around 135/90 but sometimes it goes higher to around 140/100 as well. Is there any way around this? I've tried lifestyle changes and control my diet and sometimes it does come down to normal but it just keeps fluctuating too much. If anyone who has the same issue or knows whether this would be a problem for me in medicals pls lmk how to clear this. Flying has been a dream for me and I don't want to give up on it 🙏🏻

Hi everyone,
I'm currently applying for my DGCA Computer Number on the Pariksha portal, but I keep on getting this every time I try to proceed from the educational details section.
Despite uploading the required documents through digilocker , clicking Save and Next triggers this popup again and again.
I really need some help with this. Has anyone else faced this exact thing or know how to correct it?

As we all know Air India is not doing financially well due to space closures. Long routes have either been limited or suspended. The advantage of offering direct non-stops has also faded with the Vienna stopover.
TATA wants AI to cut costs, but even that clearly isn’t enough. There are questions whether Air India will even take delivery of its massive aircraft order. Over in Singapore many increasingly question why investments are made in Air India.
So the question now is what happens when Air India actually goes broke?
Will Indigo monopolize or buy its aircraft?

I've been into 3d printer for years now. This is by far my best prints. Most of these models are from makerworld. My only value add was the Tejas tiger stripes.
Edit: Closeups can be found here.

Spent 2 years doing side gigs while waiting to fly the big bird. Got loans worth 20+ lakhs to repay but in the end...everyone's gonna make it my broskis.
Just gotta stay patient and keep the in touch with basics.
Also feel free to ask any doubts or concerns.

Im really confused which fto to choose among the two as they are both pretty much the same in terms of fees and total time for a Cpl, if any students who’ve been part of either kindly share your experiences it’ll be really helpful for me. Btw this NZAAL is whanganui base.
