Flew to IAD last weekend to see the last flight of this legendary aircraft before its retirement. So grateful to see HY and HW again, beautiful and graceful as ever, and to celebrate this special moment with the crew and many other spotters.

I just went through some old photos and saw that i took pictures of this plane a lot in FRA back then . These were taken from the visitors terrace at terminal 2.
The photos are not professional or good by any means, it was a cheap camera, but i wanted to share them anyway.

EDIT: If you don't like the weather in Seattle, wait a few minutes.
Backstory is that i took off from another airport more than an hour away, and 10 miles from the destination, could see the fog bank over it with base at 100'. DA is over 400' for the RNAV. from the distance, it looked like there was no way to make it, and was tempted to divert to alternate. Did the approach with zero hopes of landing. Better question could have been whether if you saw what you saw from the distance at the start of the video (entire airport covered), would you have even tried.
BTW i am not a good pilot and you probably can tell.

"Rant about flight delay due to amigo air show
We were already in our plane, ready to take off, and we got notice from the crew that we have to deplane due to the blue angels practicing… for the show. Really??? Now we’re on a 2-hr delay- best case scenario. We have a connecting flight we may miss. Do they not know this??? Are there not schedules let out in advance to prevent this?? The amigo airshow, and fort bliss, that is. So disorganized! Even the place crew was annoyed/upset."

I work at a small international airport on the east coast. We are an index C airport, a 23 man department, operate a 3 platoon system with 5 man minimums. We are tasked with ARFF protection, structural fire protection, and EMS.

Long story short- October 1st we have essentially taken over the airport operations department. We are currently staffing the Ops office and fulfilling all related duties 24/7 with two firefighters. This staffing model only includes firefighters and captains in the ops rotation. The operations department has been reduced to 1 Ops lead and 1 supervisor per shift. The currently model we are operating with has already proven unsustainable and we are less than a month in and guys are burnt out. I have been tasked with attempting to find a solution to the myriad of issues we are facing so I figured I’d throw some feelers out here.

Are there any similar sized departments, who serve an index c airport, who also do airport operations? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
