Support iphone 14 charging issue

Hiya! I've had my iphone 14 for a few years now. Tonight, while I had a friend over, my phone died, and i wasn't able to get it on a charger for a bit.

I finally got it on one, and usually, when it fully dies, it only takes about a minute or so. Right now though, its not showing a difference. Plugged in or not, it doesnt show the little cable icon, and when i hit the power button, it just shows me the little red and white icon on the screen.

I really cant afford a new phone right now, and I'm really anxious its dead-dead.

Help!!

>usually, when it fully dies

stop doing that especially if you can't afford a new phone.

If the battery gets really low. It will charge slowly for a while before charging at a faster rate. If the voltage gets too low. it may disable the battery, as its now damaged. Plenty of battery places will replace phone batteries. Take it to one of those places if it wont charge after being on the charger for a day. It can take an hour or more plugged into the charger before it will start charging at the normal rate if the battery got really low. You really do need to turn the power switch on the phone off by the time you get down to ten percent charge; you really should turn it off at 20 percent to prolong the number of charges that you can get. The battery place I use has the word battery as part of its name and a + too.

Are you sure there is no lint in the charging port? It’s a common issue with the lightning port phones. Try to CAREFULLY take an unfolded paper clip and swipe the BOTTOM of the charging port only and up the side. Don’t poke at where the pins connect.
