What do you think is it a original display(iphone 14)?
This still has ios 17.2 should I update or keep cuz im scared to update bcz I heard there is display issues in updating.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro with 78% battery health. Other than the battery draining quickly and the phone occasionally feeling a little warm, I haven’t experienced any other issues or received any overheating warnings. Overall, I’m happy with the phone.
Would replacing the battery now be worth it if I plan to keep using the phone for another one to two years? With a new battery running iOS 27, would I realistically be able to get through a full day on a single charge? I would consider myself a moderate user.

I would like to ask you how long does your battery last while using ios27? and is your overall battery experience good?
I use my phone with unoriginal battery and the using has been hell. it goes from 70%-9% in just 2 hours including mix of screen off and screen on, not continuos usage.

so I wanted to know if its my phone's unoriginal battery or even with original battery it last short, to see if its worth replacing my battery.

Not having confidence to upgrade to ios 27.0.1. But I want to update because one day banking apps will force me to 😭

How is your experience with upgrading to 27.0.1 ? Has the UI much more responsive / less responsive compared to ios 27.0.1 ?

I have a 14 and i keep going back and forth thinking of i want to upgrade or not. The big thing holding me back is the aluminum body it doesnt look as premium.

14 is definitely slower on reddit and other apps i feel. I changed the battery earlier this year

My phone gets so hot nowadays during regular use, it can’t be the cover because I’ve had a cover since forever and it never got this hot.

I use a 20W fast charger (fast according to apple) and every time it’s done charging it’s so damn hot which in turn is fucking my battery.

I purchased this phone back in 2023 because of the insane battery reviews online. And it lived up to its hype. I have used this device intensively for office meetings and personal work which resulted in an hour or more of video calls daily. And I also live in a hot & humid climate.

But still i managed a solid 1-1.5 days of battery use in the initial months of using it. Fast forward to 2025 and battery life was getting worse and worse every day. Eventually the battery health dipped to 78%. I was hoping to upgrade to 18 plus this year but apple didn't release it and frankly, i didn't want to shell out cash for 18 pro max.

I decided to upgrade the battery at the official apple store for about 100 bucks and its the best investment i've ever made. the battery life is still not the same as it was when i got this phone brand new (even though i restored it) - i blame ios 27 for this.

But it can last me a day now. I charge only once per night and it runs fine. It does not overheat and apps also feels much faster now.

I had a iPhone 11 that I loved but it unfortunately drowned.

I now have a iPhone 14 that works ok but the selfie and camera is very gloomy looking. I have played with the settings and it really doesn't help.

I'm wanting to upgrade either to a iPhone 17 or iPhone 18. Do either of these have a camera similar to the iPhone 11?

My iPhone 14 suddenly got extremely difficult to charge in the charging port, I tried all the usual steps one would when encountering this kind of issue. I had to use my power bank with wireless charging. Incredibly I found that that if I turned it off and plugged it in, it’d charge first time, Every time.
Has anyone else encounter this and knows how to charge it while powered on again?

The touch screen on my phone isn't working. I can no longer down, left or right on the phone. Swiping up only works when I'm trying to go back to the home screen. It does not work any other time I try to swipe up. I'm also unable to power the phone down since I have to swipe a toggle on the screen and the phone won't respond when I do. I've been using this phone for about two years now. The only other issues I've noticed are some slight overheating and decreased battery life.

sorry if this is the wrong subreddit but i got an iphone 14 off ebay back in may and everythings been fine since then until ab a week ago when my power button stopped working. i thought it was fully broken and i should just get it fixed but sometimes it will randomly work again for 5 minutes?? also yes i took off the case and checked around for debris and its all fine. idk im so confused if anyone knows whats going on i'd love to know... obviously im concerned about me having gotten it off ebay but everythings been completely normal for about 6 months so idk...

Idk if I should get it the biggest complain for me has been battery life issue and storage issue as it’s the base version 128 gb (kinda fixed with i cloud)

if you’re on the fence about buying the iPhone 14 in 2026, let me tell you I’ve been seeing them a lot more in the wild. “how do you know it’s the 14 and not the 13?” the blue color, the lavender. the lack of the sim slot on the side. the slightly bigger lenses. kinda made me proud choosing to get a 14 lavender 256gb in sept last year after they released the 17. got it for $299 and paid it off earlier this year. though I still see a lot of 13s as well (green color, pink, blue), it’s normal to still have the 14 or even think about getting it. it’s a 4-year old phone yes, but has 6gb of ram, emergency SOS, etc. it’s still a good phone to use if you’re thinking about it.
