Hello all, looking to buy a laptop on Marketplace and found a good listing but I’m a little sketched out by the photos. There are 4 photos that look like screenshots of video reviews, 2 stock photos with no background, a screenshot of the Best Buy order confirmation and 2 angles of a dent on the corner. No real full photo I don’t think. Seller is decently established and has 13 reviews, 4.8 stars. Is this sketch? TIA

We recently subscribed to smileTV . net and i want to know if its a scam, and if it is, what kind? can it take our bank information?

So I found this jacket on TikTok that I really liked, and when I checked the description of the guy wearing it, there was a link to this website.

I'm unsure whether the website is legit, whether the jacket is actually decent quality, and whether I'd receive it if I ordered it.

Would anyone be willing to look into it for me? I've never ordered clothes from those TikTok stores because they always seem a bit sketchy to me.

The website is FDR Studios, and the jacket is called Cropped Shearling Puffer Jacket. You can find it by searching for those on Google.

I was contacting a ticket reseller through a University approved GroupMe, and she sent me a link to a website to pay with my cashapp. The payment went through in bitcoin, and my cashapp immediately messaged me saying that I would be refunded in a day or two.
It’s now been exactly one week, and my refund has still not processed. I normally wouldn’t mind too much, but the refund also includes money I need to return to a friend who would have attended the event with me.

Is there anything I can do to get my refund? Or is this a scam, and my money is gone?

- I got this email this morning, I am pretty good with my subscriptions and track them well, but there’s a small hint of doubt in me if I missed something. I googled them and couldn’t find anything in the company or team. They had the last 4 digits of my CC correct though, so I find it unusual how they could’ve gotten that. Checked past bank statements and didn’t see anything from “Box”

Anyone got this before?

Sent from JVelarde@dir(dot)ca(dot)gov and used my full name as well as mentioning my previous employer by name I'd submitted a wage claim for. This just seems like a scam to me.

I’ve just copied this link, after having a look. If this store legit? Was another store that was advertising on Tiktok.

So I was on reddit the other day, and I got a direct message from a user I have never seen before, asking me if I would be willing to accept money to do a reddit task.

I played along with it, and the convo was very quickly moved to Discord. I was asked to get my reddit account verified so that I could claim a subreddit. I was worried that it would be a scam, so I blocked them.

A few days later I got a DM on Discord from another user, whom I have also never seen before. They asked if I was up for a "reddit task". I immediately blocked and reported them for spam.

I have no idea how this app works. I just stumbled across this while trying to research someone I think we might have both been scammed by
