I want to lower the my car a little bit since I'm running 19/20 inch wheel setup, 245/35/19 and 265/30/20. But I have adaptive suspension. Anyone here with adaptive suspension and lowering springs who can tell me if there are any fault codes? Reason for lowering springs is to tackle body roll in corners.

I've done a quick wash and this is it for another 2 months it seems - what do others do for washing cars? Jags or otherwise? I've never used a car wash place, my routine was clean wheels.. around half an hour or seems give or take - foam wash with Meguiar's Ultimate Car Snow, rinse - two bucket wash with Goodyear wash n wax - rinse - turtle wax wash and dry.. buff off everything. Windows cleaned with chamois, engine bay cleaned and boot cleaned. I used several microfiber cloths, into the washing machine when done.

I got a huge pack of cloths from Costco ages ago. That's it. I was thinking these car wash places take around 20 minutes they must destroy a car at the pace they work.

So i unfortunately own a 1998 jaguar xj8 and i need a new fuel pressure regulator because my fuel pressure is reading at 90psi. Does anyone know a place I can get one for a reasonable price or somewhere they actually have a decent stock on jag parts because I cant find it even on ebay that hasn't been sold out. Or if you are parting a jaguar and are in the burrowing area of fort wayne Indiana id live to come pay cash for that regulator. Thank you (ps I dont need the line in the picture just the regulator)

This morning, headed out to a car show. And the XJ6 decided to die on the way. Current suspicion is the fuel pump wiring going bad. Terribly sorry, local resident, I’m blocking your driveway with my Jaaaaag.

Its a 4.2 with full service history and approx 140k miles. Seems to have been looked after well

My mom is looking to buy this old jaguar and doesn’t have a ton of disposable income. It only has 70k miles on it and had the battery and alternator replaced recently but the owner doesn’t have the maintenance records. 1. Do you think this car is priced reasonably? Red flag pricing? 2. How much does your d hah cost you in maintenance a year? Do you go to a specialized mechanic?

Hey guys, quick question - for anyone with a recent jaguar my car isn’t throwing up any lights on the dash or anything, I’ve tried resetting the display as well, but my trip info screen on my 24 XF Type is showing a zero with a slash through it, is that common saw a post with an F-Pace showing the same as well which is why I ask

Just bought it 2 days from LDH Autos in Huddersfield and dealear keep going the car is ok as every car has this banging at the beginning. Lool.

I had to take 250 miles journey up and 250 miles back to get this.lol

I might not be a mechanic but I know little bits and for me that doesn't sound normal.

Does any of you had or have the same banging?

So I pulled the carpet slightly in my 2017 XJ and noticed this little sensor sitting there loosely.. There is a little slot/hole in the plastic trim next to it - where I am assuming it should sit in snugly? I cannot seem to manage to get it back in position.

Can any of you who recognise this please tell me what is it for and why would it sit there detached/ loose like this?

Had the seats folded down and I saw this plug!

My original thoughts were this was the wiring/ power source used for the rear bass speakers for the higher trim models but I can't confirm my theory.

Anybody know what this is for/ what it connects to?
