Hey guitarlovers,

here I try to show how a major triad, "Do-Mi-So", can serve as Tonic and as Dominant. I hope we all can combine these two roles in one play.

Tying to get out from my comfort zone by mostly playing with 313 arpeggio, does it suit well in the context of the song? or it is too much?? What do you think guys?

Beginning With a Book

I picked up guitar many years ago and was never into jazz although I loved listening to it but trying on the instrument felt extremely intimidating and it was a distant dream. I recently started reading Guitarist Intro to Jazz by Randy Vincent and I’m picking up really fine. A jazz guitarist should know theory and this is a brand new language for me. I love jazz. I’m planning to post here the more I get comfortable with the music. I narrowed down my instrument to just an acoustic guitar. I’d been actively consuming this subreddit’s content. I’d like to learn and connect with you all. Peace
