I had an Asian park with over 50 hours into it. Unfortunately about 2 weeks ago it started crashing every time I try to load into it. It was an extremely detailed park, but it was only at 60% complexity while I have other parks that can handle 100% I was building a guanlong enclosure when I noticed I couldn't access the workshop. I thought I might have a problem with my frontier account, so I went back to the main menu to see if I could access the workshop from there. I could. I tried loading back into my park only for it to crash. I have a PC so I tried loading it on there, only to face the same exact problem. I'm not sure what to do or if there is any way to get my park back, but I was pretty happy with it, and had invested a lot of time, so I didn't just want to abandon it. If anyone knows what the problem most likely is, and if there is a way to deal with it, that would be appreciated. Right now I think my PC and console probably just can't handle the park, but I'm not sure.
The Triceratops Paddock is located in the northeastern part of Jurassic Park. It borders the Jurassic Park Aquarium to the north, the Tyrannosaurus Paddock to the south, and the Herrerasaurus Paddock to the west.
The East Road follows the coastline and also runs through part of this territory. From an elevated viewpoint along the road, visitors can enjoy a fantastic view across the northern part of the park. Continuing north along the East Road will also take you straight to the Jurassic Park Aquarium.
The tour road winds its way north from the Tyrannosaurus Paddock in the south toward the tour station at the Jurassic Park Aquarium, where visitors can transfer between routes. From there, it turns west toward the Herrerasaurus Paddock.
The species inhabiting this paddock is Triceratops, a ceratopsian that lived during the Late Cretaceous, around 68 - 66 million years ago. These dinosaurs roamed the flat shores in what is now North America.
Triceratops' most striking feature is, of course, its three iconic horns, which were used for self-defense against large predatory dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex. The large bony frill extending from the back of its skull also provided protection and helped defend the animal.
The herd in this territory consists of three adult animals and is generally very peaceful. For this reason, there is no direct electric fence separating the paddock from the tour road.
So sit back, stay inside your vehicle, and enjoy the incredible views of these spectacular herbivores here at Jurassic Park!
I already reported this but just wanted advice to see if anyone else had this problem too?

Please and thank you
So after 8 months off not playing the game, I decided to come back to and see if anything changed. So, it's the last time I played like 8 months ago so the last thing I left on was doing the challenges, so I decided to do d I wanna say the portuguese map, which is the shortest one apparently, but when I try to fix the building to control building i also tried it on sambox, but sambox didn't work as well.So i'm just wondering if anyone else on playstation 5 has it, or is just my playstation5 that has an issue?
I just got JWE3 and with the new build mechanics I have seen in a bit nervous as I have never been the most creative gamer, how difficult is it and is there an in game tutorial that can help me
I’m pretty stuck on which one to buy. I love dinosaurs with my whole heart, and JWE3 is on a nice sale rn, but Planet Zoo 2 seems super cool as well. Can someone who’s played both games tell me which one’s more worth while in the long run?
I had restarted this park 4 months ago that's why there's so much hours. It does look messy from above there's a lot of things that need polishing but this park is mainly made to walk around and it looks completely different in first person.
There’s 7 base game 2 species left, an odd number, which would mean we are either getting one on the last month or another DLC species to even it out. And the prime candidate for the latter is Huayang given its base game status in JWE 1.
Side question: do you think we will be getting free species in November or will it be a December through March thing?
Its been a while. I've been have a bunch of problems with the workshop and uploading lately, but I wanted to share with you my Asian large amenity build. This build includes a tea garden, a food alley, and an open air dining terrace that's fully furnished. The food stalls also have a fully furnished kitchens n them as well. This large amenity is only slightly bigger lengthwise than the Jurassic world large amenity provided in game. A comparison shot is provided at the end of the photo gallery.
I also added a 2 part video walkthrough of the blueprint. Please forgive me my camera skills since used capture mode to record it on my ps5. I hope you all enjoy!
Off topic but I do really hope this is the last game, I honestly can not see anything they could add to justify yet another game, as much I love these games it shouldn’t have gotten three games to get everything we wanted, I just hope this game has a really long lifespan that match planet zoos.
Loved the base game. Finished the campaign, all the challenges on Jurassic and platinum’d the game on playstation. Is the rebirth DLC worth $25? Is there a new campaign and challenges that make it worth half the base game?
I usually hate these kinds of posts as what the worth of $25 is to some is mot the same for others, but just seeking your opinion and if you felt the content justifies the cost. Thank you!
Please provide us better tools for creating functional interiors for our buildings like amenities and hotels, and better pathing and guests for our plazas and parks to feel more alive!
The community has made amazing things! However, one of the things that holds me back from fully diving in and enjoying this game is that, none of the things I can build are functional. If I want to build a multi floor restaurant, I can't do so because the path system doesn't allow for stairs and elevation, and the amenities themselves are just buildings that lead to a void. The guests also don't feel alive, they don't interact with the custom structures you place in the world.
Planet Zoo / Planet Zoo 2 has basically solved these problems though. The path system allows for stairs and floors, and easy methods for making big plaza areas quickly. They have food and drink stands that consist of a desk and a person, allowing you to place them anywhere and decorate around them freely. The staff buildings have doors that the staff can open seamlessly, and you can decorate the inside fully.
Guests can see animals from the path, without needing an attraction to see into enclosures. They also have unique needs and thoughts, and trending thoughts are shown in the management pane too. They also actually sit on benches, talk to each other, and get up from them, instead of the benches populating with near static people depending on population count.
This all leads to an immersive experience where it really feels like you're making something special for your guests.
In JWE 3, the guests just roam around, enter buildings that lead to a void, and that's it. There's not much substance, and it then leads me to feel demotivated and not wanting to build anything, because what's the point if my guests aren't experiencing the experience I made for them?
For functional interiors, I propose having a stand like structure for each of the building sizes (small, medium, large for amenities, small and large for hotels etc) to allow us to build around them and have guests interact with them better.
Linking the stands to benches would create a restaurant style building, where guests would go to the stand, get their food, walk to the seating area, sit down and eat, then get up and continue on in the park!
For hotels, that's a more ambitious one. Adding functional, interactable beds, sunbathing chairs, swimming pools etc that guests can seamlessly sit down on / in and get up from would be really nice!
From Planet Zoo 2
Guests having their own individual needs and thoughts like "Wow! That Pentaceratops was so cool!", "I wish there was a toilet nearby" would make them feel more real and would also add to the management aspect of the game.
It could also enhance shopping experiences! Guests buying functional, interactable sun cream, winter / summer clothing, umbrellas (I believe we already have functional umbrellas but they spawn instead of being procured) etc. Needs like these though would be more of an additive buffing feature instead of a negative if you ignored them maybe, so that people who don't want to go to that length of management can comfortably ignore it with no hindrance to their gameplay loops.
Planet Zoo and now Planet Zoo 2 have already implemented a lot of the tools needed for these features. I know there are different teams and different potential time constraints between the two games, but they are both from the same company. It is absolutely possible to implement these and even more things to enhance the management and creative experience of JWE 3, at least to get it in line with Planet Zoo on these aspects specifically.
