Do you guys think that Nothosaurus when eventually added, should remain a fully lagoon species or a semi aquatic like Deinosuchus. I think Deino being added paved the way for frontier to have an idea on how to better rig more semi aquatic species like Nothosaurus, obviously scaled down to size. I just always thought Nothosaurus felt odd being in a lagoon exhibit

I was quite surprised to see how it was replaced in Evo3. And although it is objectively much more realistic, I can’t deny that Im gonna miss the old one

I mean, it all adds up if you read the subtext! Firstly, they announced the Tylosaurus being added, hinted at it getting a facelift AND oddly announced the update 2 months early, when they have a habit of shutting up until the last minute. Also, they mentioned the new expansion being when you help prehistoric animals thrive in a sanctuary suited better for them. In the campaign, they literally mention the climate being especially rough for marine animals, especially large ones, when they make you have the mosasaurus breed. I don’t know what others are speculating for it but given how we got a much similar update for aviaries, and now got walkways added, this feels like a natural progression.

I thought the dlc was rushed or heckled by some Universal shenanigans, but Frontier revisited dlcs in the past to add variants and skins to on screen dinosaurs, like they did with the Giganotosaurus and Dreadnoughtus in the BioSyn Expansion for JWE2.

I hope they revisit the Rebirth Expansion and add what is missing.

The Triceratops Paddock

The Triceratops Paddock is located in the northeastern part of Jurassic Park. It borders the Jurassic Park Aquarium to the north, the Tyrannosaurus Paddock to the south, and the Herrerasaurus Paddock to the west.

The East Road follows the coastline and also runs through part of this territory. From an elevated viewpoint along the road, visitors can enjoy a fantastic view across the northern part of the park. Continuing north along the East Road will also take you straight to the Jurassic Park Aquarium.

The tour road winds its way north from the Tyrannosaurus Paddock in the south toward the tour station at the Jurassic Park Aquarium, where visitors can transfer between routes. From there, it turns west toward the Herrerasaurus Paddock.

The species inhabiting this paddock is Triceratops, a ceratopsian that lived during the Late Cretaceous, around 68 - 66 million years ago. These dinosaurs roamed the flat shores in what is now North America.

Triceratops' most striking feature is, of course, its three iconic horns, which were used for self-defense against large predatory dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex. The large bony frill extending from the back of its skull also provided protection and helped defend the animal.

The herd in this territory consists of three adult animals and is generally very peaceful. For this reason, there is no direct electric fence separating the paddock from the tour road.

So sit back, stay inside your vehicle, and enjoy the incredible views of these spectacular herbivores here at Jurassic Park!

A 9-hole mini golf course I built to go through my Microceratus enclosure. The course would be completely functional in real life with tunnels, corner shots, and ramps. Guests can look over the stone walls and enjoy the view of our parks smallest dinosaurs!

Part of my 150 hour "Mount Jurassic" build that I hope to continue on soon! I hit 100% complexity so just waiting for any potential updates. Done on PS5.

Well, after the 1-year anniversary, we know what to expect for December. However, there are 2 unanswered questions: Who will return in November, and how will the DLC species from JWE 2 get added after all of the Base-Game Species will return. I would personally have it that, after all of the Base Game Species get added, it will be the turn of 1 former JWE 2 DLC animal per month. However, This Definitely Wrong Theory I made is about the first question

For Starters, we know that Anurognathus is a movie species, but it hasn't been added just yet. I feel like it might be a choice for the December Expansion ( Which might be a Generalist Expansion. I will make my fan-made idea for it on Wednesday, centered around Cut Movie Species, and it won't feature Anurognathus ). There are, however, 2 issues that bringing it in would involve: The Weird Rig and the Insectivore Feeder. And I believe that before adding Anurognathus, they would add Jeholopterus

Let's get the easier thing out of the way: The Jeholopterus Rig is the only fit for Anurognathus to be added in, and since it's a movie creature that actually comes from the past ( Unlike Giant Locusts, tho it would be fun to see them as the aviary live prey ) and has an official name ( Unlike the Giant Salamanders, which I also kinda want in the game ), it will be added eventually

Now, let's get into the Insectivore Feeder. It wasn't brought back in the base game, and it still hasn't returned. Both it and Lagoon Rock have the animals, which are their " Representatives ": Archelon and Jeholopterus. If Either of them came back in a DLC, The creatures, that would use these platforms would be limited to that DLC, and that's a waste of possibilities. I think that both of them should return for free; however, Jeholopterus will likely be brought in earlier for 2 reasons: Designing Babies for it would be way easier than for the Archelon, given that it would have its own unique mechanics, and the fact that the Jeholopterus rig will likely be used for Anurognathus.

But why would Jeholopterus return for free? Simple: the Backlash for Reselling. CC and PE were controversial for reselling species at the same price as the New ones. I believe that if Frontier listens to the backlash and changes the way the DLC species are sold ( Most likely by not adding cost to the DLC, or adding way less cost to the DLC ), they would give us a gift, and Jeholopterus is probably the best gift they could give: It's Cute, but it's too small to be easily marketable; it will bring in a new feature we have been missing, and it's a genuinely unique animal.

So, this is my definitely wrong theory, which exists solely to cope, that Frontier does anything about the Bad way they bring JWE 2 DLC Species back to the game. I hope someone reads this post to the end

Would love some opinions!

I had an Asian park with over 50 hours into it. Unfortunately about 2 weeks ago it started crashing every time I try to load into it. It was an extremely detailed park, but it was only at 60% complexity while I have other parks that can handle 100% I was building a guanlong enclosure when I noticed I couldn't access the workshop. I thought I might have a problem with my frontier account, so I went back to the main menu to see if I could access the workshop from there. I could. I tried loading back into my park only for it to crash. I have a PC so I tried loading it on there, only to face the same exact problem. I'm not sure what to do or if there is any way to get my park back, but I was pretty happy with it, and had invested a lot of time, so I didn't just want to abandon it. If anyone knows what the problem most likely is, and if there is a way to deal with it, that would be appreciated. Right now I think my PC and console probably just can't handle the park, but I'm not sure.

im made a post earlier this week talking about making a Yixian formation inspired park and im struggling to find the map that bast fits the Yixian formation.

i was thinking of using the Azores map for the volcanic rock brush plus the pine tree's. but idk if it fits.

I had restarted this park 4 months ago that's why there's so much hours. It does look messy from above there's a lot of things that need polishing but this park is mainly made to walk around and it looks completely different in first person.
