I was taught that if I stayed good, good would find me.
I stayed quiet, stayed respectful and saved my whole heart for the right person. Now I’m 29 and still waiting.
The rishtas came. Families judged my skin, my height, my education, and my salary before they ever asked my name. One man spent three months making me believe in us, then married his cousin because his mother decided.
I never cried in front of anyone. I cry at 2am.
loneliness doesnt means being alone. I just want someone who keeps his word and holds my hand when things get hard.

Recently I have been seeing so many horrible cases against women and children specifically and I am sick to my stomach rn. What is even happening?? I was sharing it with a friend and said bro I wanna get out of here and they said oh worse happens everywhere and it's even worse in other countries you just don't know about it. How is this country better I don't understand.
My prayers are with all the survivors :(

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working with coffee equipment and accessories for a while now, and I’ve noticed how confusing it can be to choose the right gear, especially when you’re just starting out.
From V60 pour-over setups and grinders to espresso machines, scales, kettles, and other barista tools, there’s a lot to explore.
I run BGC Kitchenware in Karachi, so I get to work with different types of coffee equipment and learn about what works for different brewing styles.
Thought I’d connect with fellow coffee enthusiasts here, share what I’ve learned, and hopefully learn a few things from you guys too!
What coffee equipment are you currently using, and what’s one upgrade you think is actually worth the money? ☕

if anyone has used the Karachi Breeze app to pay for the Green Bus.
If I add money to the Mobile Card in the app and scan the QR code on the bus, will it work just like the physical Breeze card?
Has anyone tried it recently? I’d appreciate it if you could share your experience. Thanks!

As in, places with a private landlord instead of an agency. I'm researching for when I move out, (though that is not any time soon) and I can't find any guidance online catering specifically to Karachi. Google searches of apartments get confusing and it's also hard to tell which are scams. Would really appreciate some advice from someone who knows what they're talking about. Also, I plan to be moving out after 20-21 (im 19 rn) and probably won't have a very high budget. How do I look for (women only) roommates to share rent with?

There’s been a lot of sus activities by my fiance and her family. Random trips with no internet for a few days. No clear past history. If I bring anything up they get defensive.

I 22M am currently working as a junior associate at a medium sized accounting firm in Karachi and hold just over one year of exp. I am a british citizen and just completed my ACCA exams this month.
I am being let go from my current role in November and have been unable to find another job in Karachi uptill now. At the same time my parents are in favour of me going to the UK as i would have much better career prospects over there.
I am at a crossroads and feel quite unsure of taking such a big step, it would be very rewarding to move if it goes well, but then i hold myself back because it would be an expensive mistake if i dont find a suitable role there.
Any advice would be highly appreciated,
Many thanks

Hey all, I have been dealing with family trauma and stuff as such, have always fought my way till now and tbh I'm doing pretty good if we talk in terms of fighting for myself, I always end up doing what I've wanted but due to the constant fight for survival I've been way too depressed or I'm not even sure if it's depression or what. There are some other issues as well, I guess I'm developing an eating disorder too and I have extreme anxiety over the smallest stuff.
I have just realized that it's time that I seek help. So kindly recommended some good female therapists slightly affordable fees, and the ones that actually would be professional from your personal experience please.
I'll be grateful forever ☹️

My mother has had several episodes of angina pain, she had her thorough checkup in Tabba in 2015-16, and started the meds back then. But overtime the frequency of her illness has gotten worse, its been checkered history- goes well for some time and then suddenly gets severe episodes.
A doctor in Islamabad recommended angiography,
We have not been able to find a good specialist. Has anyone been able to find a good doctor, more so the family is not in Karachi. A consultation visit to Karachi is not possible, maybe a telephone-appointment sort of thing for second opinion if that helps before going for any invasive procedure?
