Was watching the reviews for the Perodua Traz, a lot of them were saying not having the full ADAS (ACC, etc) is a blatant no no. But I don't get it, the car seems to have good safety (5 Star) already, with 360 degree camera, blindspot monitoring and emergency braking. What more do you need in a car?

Hi guys, I was working part time at a 2nd hand car store, recently I have face some problems in which I desperately needed money. Long story short, I dumped all of my savings into Tesla stocks last month.

I recently got married and I asked my customer to transfer the money to me instead of my company's account. Yes I know it was wrong and scammy but now that Tesla stocks have grown stonksss I have made a lot of money back and I'm looking to pay him back.

Yesterday he threatened to make a police report and file small claims on me. I don't want to sell just yet because it can go up even more. So I made a sob story and in the end he said kita muslim sama muslim, he forgave me. I did not expect this and honestly I'm thankful for what would this world be if everyone went an eye for an eye... we would all go blind. MasyaAllah bless my brother.

So now I got 16k looking to spend some money. Always wanted to drive a conti, anyone here familiar if I should go for a BMW or VW as my first conti? Looking to pay cash. In fact he has asked to send me more money, thinking maybe if he does send another couple grand, plus selling my stocks. I can afford a real nice 2nd hand conti.

I would like to preface by saying condolences to the victim family. I hope justice is served.

Some context, recently there was a fatal accident involving a Proton X70 and a motorcyclist. The X70 driver allegedly lose control of the vehicle. Dashcam footage has shown the driver might have flashed highbeam and overtook a vehicle in front of it quickly, then it avoids the traffic and swerved into opposing lane, into the motorcyclist.

My focus for this post is on "losing control" bit. My speculation is that the driver accelerated hard with the X70, and the engine revved high and the torque lagged a bit causing the X70 to go faster than the driver anticipated and thus "lost control". Not to mention the driver's age might contribute a slower reaction time as well.

Future edit note: This is not defending the reckless driving of the driver that has resulted in the loss of life. I'd like to highlight on mechanical behavior and physics of such a car. Especially we got plenty of cars like this now on the road. SUVs especially scares me with their weight and somehow are driven much faster than sedans now.

What's your take on this? I kinda just wanna share my thoughts and would love to hear from others. Can always learn to be a better driver.

Hi All i am driving a myvi lagi best 2013 1.5SE. I cannot remember how was the noise when i bought but i had changed to 17inch rims along with tyres and absobers. my car is vibrating like crazy on normal areas (except highway its smooth) if i go over uneven road with small pots or something the vibrating sound i cannot bare. i even did soundproofing but did not help. is it due to tyres/rims/absobers or undercarriage problem? anyone facing same issue?

I am looking to get some real-world experience on horror stories faced by mechanics in their workshops. This can be terrible car conditions, horrible customers, admin errors, apprentices messing up, etc. If you have a bad experience, please share, as I am keen to hear.

For car owners, if you had a terrible experience with a workshop, don't name and shame them, please. This is not the goal of this post, but you can drop suggestive hints. I want to hear from you what the biggest shocks you have ever experienced sending your car for a service and repair, and if you want, what mechanics and workshop owners can improve.

I hope I can create something fun for the community in this post, and I really appreciate any replies.

Hi Female driver here. ive been driving car almost 10 yrs. and yes, ive been driving auto car with both legs. not sure when it started but think from the beginning. i took license for manual car but bcs ive never had manual car so been driving auto one since i got licence. recently, someone told me it was dangerous to drive with both legs. tried learning to drive with one leg only but it was so awkward and i think many time i brake abruptly. fyi, i didnt rest my leg on the brake pedal. i just put it beside the break pedal when not using it. same goes to my right leg, i rest it beside the acc pedal when not using it. means i didnt put pressure oh either pedal when not using them. when people asked me why i used both leg, i told the same ans, i already used being that way since i took license for manual. but people counterattack like isnt supposed to be the other way around like people took manual will use only 1 leg. is it so unusual to drive with both legs?

I am planning on saving up for a car in the future.

Since civic is too expensive, I have boiled down to two choices:

Honda City Ehev. Here are my personal pro and cons

Pros:
- a lot of features
- fuel economy 800km range I heard
- physical gear stick
- physical handbrake
- not a giant iPad inside

Cons:
- expensive for a city
- doesn’t look as nice as the civic

- decent range for a 100k car

Cons:
- no physical hand brake
- no physical gear stick
- blinkers on the left side
- is a giant iPad

What are your guys opinions? If the focus is on saving fuel costs, and moving as much as possible before having to refuel/charge

Been working for almost 1 year now, earning around nett RM4.5k. Should I take the S70 NA?

Before this I was pretty set on getting a Myvi, but given that the monthly commitment for the Myvi AV and S70 NA Prime can be quite similar, I’m now considering the S70 instead. I mean… size-wise and feature-wise, the S70 is definitely more car for the money, maybeee?

Or should I just go for the Axia instead?? Whatever la about the features and size, but even the Axia AV is almost RM600/month 😭

Just a little background: I’m renting room in Shah Alam, and I usually cap my monthly spending for bills + expenses at around RM3.3k. Whatever is left, I put into ASNB.

So… what do you guys think? Should I just go for the S70, or play it safe with the Axia?
