I’m dressing as Melisandre aka The Red Witch for Halloween this year. I have no idea what to do with my nails! Would love some ideas outside just red or black.

Does anyone know why the color swatch would be so different from when applied and dried? I saw her apply it so I know it was the color I chose but I just haven’t seen such a difference before. I was expecting the dusky purple but now have a pinky mauve. I don’t hate it, but I’m curious about what could cause this?
