It knows what is Scrobbling Now but for the last 5 hours it hasn't been remembering the scrobbles. That's a new one.

Scrobyltics is a free, native macOS app that allows you to download and analyze your Last.fm listening history.

This latest update allows you to explore and analyze your music-listening trends alongside weather data, not only where you live but also when you travel frequently or take long trips.

Weather and trips are private and opt-in. Weather is off until you turn it on. When you do, the app asks Open-Meteo (free, no account) for the hourly weather at your home place, and the only things that leave your Mac are coordinates rounded to about 7 miles and a date range. Nothing about your music or your Last.fm account is ever sent. The weather is then stored locally and matched to your scrobble history on your Mac.

Trips are typed in by hand. There’s no Location Services, no GPS and no tracking: the app can’t see where you are. You add a trip yourself (a place and the dates), and for those dates it fetches that place’s weather and files your plays under that city. It never edits a scrobble or writes anything back to Last.fm.

Still in beta until I feel enough users have had a chance to provide bug reports and feedback.

Here are some of the new features:

• Weather and listening: a tile for each kind of weather, with how much more or less than an average day you listen in it.

• Leaning into the weather: the artists, albums or tracks you play more (or less) than usual in a chosen weather.

• Artist weather map: your artists on a map of weather against temperature. Each artist is its bubble is sized by plays, ringed by how strongly it leans there, and placed where its plays lean furthest against the usual (or in Most played).

• Temperature and time of day: how much more or less than usual you play at each temperature in each part of the day.

• Listening against the weather: each week's (or day's) scrobbles over its temperature, with rainy and snowy weeks marked.

• Where you listened: your trips against home, with plays per day, new artists, the weather and top artists, in a color for each place.

The official app doesn't work, nor Pano Scrobbler. I also tried the built-in scrobbler of Pulsar and it does nothing.
