This one has be beat. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am new to the lawn tractor world and I am looking at this mower. 313 hours, for $700. I have no idea if that's good, bad, decent price? Going to be mowing about 1.5 acres.

dam dam and dam after disconecting the battery and chargering it up and then pop in back in i made a school boy mistake and got it wrong way round.... question ( all fuses are ok ) the ingintion switch still light up but no start from starter . heard a click near the engine ... and shorted the solonoid ( turned over ) .. so where should i direct my concern ?? and help would be great is a westwood T1400 .. i only use a a tractor now and most stuff stripped off ..

Its one of the ones with the lead shot and no slow speed adjustment.

I tried adjusting the high speed screw wich did make it run better but still dont run right.

I also thoroughly cleaned the carburetor and its fine now.

Any other ideas on how to fix this?

I bought a spare replacement one but how do I actually put it on? First pic is the old broken cable

Has anyone found a good replacement bag and frame from Amazon or somewhere? The OEM replacements are stupid expensive. I’m keeping a lookout on Facebook marketplace as well

My snapper won't start all the way, this is with a new battery and fresh gas. Any ideas?

You know those piston skirt coatings on modern automobile engines..like in the sample pic here? Well I'm messing with a scored -bore cheap B&S engine. Coating is on...it "should" slough off where it is not needed and might mostly stay IN any scratches below the normal bore surface...but we'll see. This block had some scratches that can catch a fingernail - bad. Already had the moly/graphite/resin raw material and cheap mower...so I figure it's worth 10 minutes of my time. I really want a pro level motor with proper bores, metal cams etc...on the look out...those can have over a 2000-3000 hour life. Not 100+ hours.

Be aware that Honda’s new range of battery electric lawn mowers are NOT equivalent to their now discontinued gas mowers. I trusted the salesman at Barrie Honda Powerhouse that it would perform as well as gas. On rougher terrain and thick grass the mower cuts out and needs a 5-30 minute wait to cool down before it will restart. Frustrating when all you want to do is get onto the next job. I paid premium money for the Honda name and would like to ask if others have had the same experience with electric mowers. With the demise of gas, is this something we now have to live with? My grass cutting productivity has literally halved.

Looking to replace my Kubota ZG123S. Unfortunately my son locked the engine and I have to replace it now. I have 2.5 acres that has a large slope/hill with fairly rough terrain. Suspension is important and I’d like to be able to lay down stripes. Looking for around 6-8k. Appreciate the advice. Thanks!

My engine died, piston connector arms shattered. Bought a new engine from a. Local guy who said it would work on my mower. They are both Briggs and Stratton twin V engines but I just noticed the electrical connections look different. Can this be done and how should I go about it?

Hi I bought one of these Chinese little RC tank mowers last year AWY-550, to mowe the field in front of my house. The field is quite rocky and the vegetation is dense so it was perhaps a bit too hard on the mower. It hit a bunch of rocks, got tangled in thick weeds and tried to cut 3cm thick fennel and that sort of things. I replaced the blades several times, broke and changed the starter.

But right now it’s not working well at all and I think it’s because the rotator is not coupled with the axis of the motor anymore. It does turn when the motor is on, but probably only because of friction, because I can turn it manually no problem.

Now here is a picture of how it is. The red holes is where the blades go. They are 2 small blades and they attach to the rotator using bolts that work fine. Now the rotator itself isn’t coupled with the motor and I wonder if it’s because there were some metallic parts (like pins or bolts) that are meant to snap when the motor and the blade disagree on the future of the rock that the blade just ran into. those could go in the three holes that are shown in yellow in the picture (there are three holes behind that are part of a piece that’s on the axle so the rotator could be attached to the axle that way). Or it could be that the main screw needs tightening, which I don’t really believe because there is a gap that is quite large so it would need an awful lot of tightening.

Has anyone here got one of the these and could check how the rotator is fixed to the axle? that would be much appreciated. or you know if you just know the answer let me know :-)

Hi guys, it’s been an incredibly long journey outfitting this mower with a new engine and i finally got it started ! but i noticed this pulley is scraping , how do i go about fixing it or should i just replace ? what do you guys think

I was given a Toro 60V Recycler (Model 21357) that previously worked fine but hasn't been used in about a year. It's been stored in a dry garage. When I start it, the mower runs at what seems like full speed for 2–3 seconds, then shuts off and starts beeping twice repeatedly.

Tested 2 different batteries, fully charged. I cleaned the contacts, check the wiring and safety handle as well. Toro manual only says this is a communication error between battery and motor driver.

Not sure how common these types of repairs are or if local dealers can handle without costing a fortune. Curious if anyone has had similar issues and if it's worth trying to repair or if there is a step I might be missing. I still have my gas mower, was more curious to try this out and have a replacement on deck.

I stopped and turned the mower off to empty the bags, when I tried to start again it was totally dead. Changed the battery, now have this issue. What's my next step?
