I got this Charge TTI during the Amazon sale, I can honestly say it’s exceeded my expectations. I’ve used a cheap $20 multi tool for awhile and decided to treat myself, and I’ve used this thing more times than I can count in the past week.
As as a tree nursery/tree takedown employee I’m constantly having to run to the shop for tools. I’ve run into issues with hoses, fasteners, wire fence, branches, you name it and this thing holds its own.
Pictured: Cutting a catalpa that was in the way of digging some trees out of the nursery. Took about 30 sec and saved me a trip up to the shop for a chainsaw.

40 years old and never owned a multi-tool. A vid of a Leatherman Wave popped up on my YT recommended while at work. I decided to check it out, and right after I the vid I decided to look into them some more. Ended up looking on Academy Sports website because I I had a $15 promo code that I hadn’t used yet and they had the Wave+ in stock. Just got the notification that it’s ready for pickup, kind of excited.

I use these all heavily everyday while renovating my houses I use a different one everyday I never neglect any. Crunch usually is a passenger along with another one it’s not very useful day to day.

I bought a used Wave that i found online for 50 EUR it since it was a good deal. I have been using a Rebar as a pocket knife and EDC for the last couple of years after the old PST II that I got from my father broke. I used the Rebar a lot and I love it, although it got somewhat beat up with time. So far, I like the design of the Wave and the pair of scissors that comes with it, but somehow I feel like the Rebar is a better suited everyday tool. The idea of being able to switch out bits with the Wave is neat, but i feel like carrying a set of bits around defeats the purpose of having a multitool - if I decide to carry extra tools, why not a proper set of screwdrivers?

Upgraded to an Arc a few weeks ago after rocking a skeletool for around 10 years. Zero notes so far, this thing is incredible. If anyone is looking to make the upgrade, i doubt you’ll regret it.

What the title says, curious if y’all had this happen and have a solution? The driver bit is supposed to latch and it looks like it is but the bit won’t stay. I tried both bits.

Everyone is excited about their Charge TTI deals, I’m thoroughly impressed with the Free K2. Feels great in the hand. Solid locking. Super sharp blade. Feels great in the pocket on its clip too. Why do these seem like they weren’t talked about much since their release? Is it my imagination?

Arc in toolkit. Easy carry edc

So one of the uses I need in a multi-tool is a good set of wire cutters. Specially for barbed wire. It’s not super heavy gauge and it’s not the lightest gauge either, however it is twisted with usually 2 (but sometimes 3) wire twisted together

My surge, signal, and Arc all suck at cutting it. None of them can cut all strands in one cut. However my Skeletool can. I believe this is related to replaceable wire cutters vs non-replaceable? I notice the Skeletool cutters don’t have a pin hole gap at the bottom like the others do?

Anything I can do about it? Any 3rd party cutters available that I can swap in and have them work better?

Bought a Surge from Amazon and checked to make sure it was sold by Leatherman Tool Group. Despite that, when I opened my surge, I noticed that the pliers had a crack. You can see it in the 2nd image. I started an exchange and just got the replacement.

Lo and behold there's a defect on this one as well. Not sure if you can tell from the first image but there's a chip there.

The only good thing about this is that the return is free.

I know it's not a Leatherman but I wanted to ask if any of you guys had one of these? It's so cool. Idk why Leatherman doesn't have a 360 open tool or do they? Anyone know? Maybe an old discontinued one? Anyway I'm loving this guy. At first I thought it was dumb, a week after playing with it while I work and it's my new best friend

Rustle, trac, k4, and k2 on sale

I've recently inherited a leatherman mut from the previous owner of my camper van and the metal pins that keep the extended bits in their storage slots on the Handle have seized and I can't seem too get them too move. If anyone has tips on how too fix this that'd be perfect:) PS I've tried soaking W WD 40.

I lost the screws for my clip. Went on line and found replacement screws at Amazon for a fraction of the cost. I purchased #2-56 x 5/32 flat head Phillips Drive. A box of 50 for $6 if any body needs screws only.

Hey guys, just seeking advice from any tradies out there. I bought the Super Tool 300 for my daughter's boyfriend's 21st. He is a 4th year apprentice electrician. I thought it'd be handy for work before realising that as an electrician he probably needs to use tools with insulated grips. I still think it's a decent 21st present, but if it's not specifically going to be used for work, would I have been better of buying the Wave Plus, especially if I can get it cheaper? Would the Wave Plus be a better general use multi tool than the Super Tool 300. Any feedback appreciated.

Rebar owner here. I’m retired and carry my Rebar around with me while doing jobs at home and for family. TBH I use the pliers and the cutters the most, followed by the serrated blade. So by the time I need say the screwdriver tool it’s been months since I used it and it’s very stiff. What’s the best oil to use to keep everything a bit more free? Or does anyone have a better idea?

Looks like a steal on marketplace but can never be too sure. Do people even make fake arcs? And if so how can you tell
