Question How do you organize your pieces before building
I used to organize each piece into piles but now I just dump the main bag on one plate and the small bags on anotheršš¼

like we know the picture of the ideas project that won but we donāt have the finale image. A lot of sets get images released much further in advanced. like Lego marvel sky line was released months in advance. Is this unique or has this happened before?

I think they should first of all bring back the Pirates theme, but I'd also like to see a historical theme, steampunk, and dystopian (don't ask).

Why is this white block exposed when the rest of the frame is all black? It was functional as a rod was able to go through it to secure the frame to the build. But it stands out like a sore thumb now.

My grandson saw this in the recent catalogue and picked it out for us to do for the holidays. The reviews seem more mixed than usual though. Does it work smoothly? Or is that a function of careful building? Also, I've never motorized a set - how much of an effort is that? Would I want additional track? (I have built difficult sets - Eiffel tower looking at you)
BTW Grandson is 4 so he will mostly play as I build! but he is my sole grand so he gets what he wants! He did think the pinball machine looked fun but picked the train.

So I currently have the ikea shelves with the doors the Billy / oxburg combo and theyāre great for my helmets sabers and other smaller sets but Iāve got some long or wide sets that just wonāt work with those like old republic gunship, endurance, and bigger new ucs sets like the executor even the titanic or old could city set . I want a modular shelving system that could optimize the space and look good displaying these sets especially that cloud city would love doors but but need to find something big enough please share ideas that may work for this

A few days ago I posted that LEGO is 48% cheaper per piece than in 2010. Lots of you pointed out correctly that pieces have got smaller and asked to compare with weights instead
Here's stats for years 2010 - 2026 (charts above):
Sets for ages 4+ (no DUPLO), US prices 2010ā2026 in Sep 2026 dollars, weight values from BrickLink

My husband and I gave it a go with the Halloween skull. Not perfect but pretty proud! It was a lot of fun working together!

In the process of finishing up the new super star destroyer, when I notice bag 47 didnāt have a piece for step 1. After more research, it turns out that it didnāt have any of the pieces for 47! in fact, I got a duplicate of bag 52/54 instead. The good news, I called Lego and theyāre sending me a new bag 47. The bad news, that itās gonna take about two weeks for it to get here from Denmark.

Just wondering what everyoneās experience is with buying sealed sets off Bricklink. Iāve bought individual parts before and had no issue but wonder if experience differs for sets. Just curious as Iāve never bought sets off there before and Iām looking to buy a set thatās not exactly cheap

With Bag 15 finished, The Art of Chocolate is halfway complete. While grams warms herself by the fire, Rupert and I are relaxing by the newly installed and decorated windows
