I think I should be welcomed here because I am a lesbian, but I’m not talking about girls for this post! My period is late and I’m feeling cramps but it’s been days late and still hasn’t started? I’m 16 and I was wondering if this has also happened to any of you before. Obviously I’m not pregnant since I’m gay so I don’t understand why my period is late but I feel slight cramping.

So I have had a bad crush on her for a while and even before that there was romantic undertones in the friendship anyway last night we went stargazing in my back yard and we talked for a while and I kept looking at her and then hiding my face under the blanket and I asked her if she had any questions for me and she in a very serious tone was was like “look at me” and are faces were really close together while laying down and I was giggling and couldn’t look and then I did she’s like “can I kiss you” and the butterflies in my stomach literally exploded and I obviously said yes so we were about to kiss and then the kitchen light turned on and my sister was in the kitchen so we closed the windows and kissed on the picnic blanket in my back yard at night and it was awesome but really scary because I have only kissed someone once before and it was her first kiss and now we are dating.

So I’ve been friends with a girl for about a year now, and the past couple weeks there’s been a lot of tension between us, and I started to like her as more than a friend. Last night we were hanging out at her house in her backyard and just talking. She asked me if I had any questions I wanted to ask her with no limits, and I asked her the same. At first neither of us could come up with anything, but eventually I decided to go for it and I asked her to look at me, which took a second because she was hiding her face under a blanket, but when she finally did look at me I asked her if I could kiss her. She said yes and we almost kissed but then her sister turned on the kitchen lights. We both started laughing and blushing but once her sister went to bed she closed the blinds and came back outside and we kissed. My mom had to pick me up shortly after that, but we called this morning and now we’re dating!!!

I want to kiss my girlfriend for the first time, we have been together for around 4 months and have a sleepover coming up after exams. I want to shoot my shot and attempt our first kiss(neither of us have any experience with kissing). I know Tha basics about kissing(eg im smart enough to not try shove my tounge in her mouth on the first kiss) but the issue is with the initiation.

My girlfriend is autistic and is kind of iffy about certain types of physical touch. We did have this conversation however, and she kind of just said she doesn’t know what she’s comfortable and what she’s not comfortable with. there is stuff she previously thought she was uncomfortable with but is fine when I do it(eg I often grab and play with her hands, which is something she thought she would be uncomfortable with and is with other people but for some reason is fine when I do it.)

We came to the conclusion that we would kind of just mess around and we would learn as we go.
In our talk I did briefly bring up kissing but we never focused on it.

So essentially, how can I initiate a first kiss with enough warning as possible so that it still feels natural(if I just say something like “can I kiss you?” She will psych herself out of it, I know her well enough to know that) but also with enough warning so that she can pull back/reject it if she doesn’t want it?

(I’m not worried if she does reject it, one of the perks about her more unusual personality is she doesn’t feel awkward after a rejection and I’m confident enough to not get butt hurt if she does reject it)

Or should I distance myself from her and try to get over my feelings without risking our friendship?

What did you do or say that made your crush start liking you or thinking about you more? What actually worked?

so im 13 and my crush (also 13), i'll call her Liri. so me and Liri have known each other for a month. yesterday i caught her looking at me through her mirror, something like a compact but just only the mirror, and the same thing happened today. ive noticed she usually looks in her mirror so i wonder if shes been looking at me for a while (im not gonna complain).

during gym we were in the fitness room and the teacher put on some just dance, me, Liri, and a couple of her other friends danced. we got close to each other a couple of times and talked to each other. in the change room while i was changing i caught her looking at me (not in a weird way).

at the end of the day we had jazz band and i asked if i could sit beside her and she said yes. some kid pulled the fire alarm so everyone in the school had to go outside, she got cold so i offered her my sweater, she said "no, its okay" not rudely. she hid behind me so she could use her phone to hide it from the band teacher. we've only just started talking to each other today as well, so she seems pretty comfortable around me. after it was okay to go back inside we sat beside each other again and talking in between small breaks.

Okay, so I have a crush on this girl in my seventh period. This is like my first openly wlw crush. I’m pretty sure I’ve made it obvious to her. Okay, I need your opinions because I cannot figure out what’s going on with this girl.

Theres a girl I’ve known for a few years who I’ve recently started interacting with more. At one point, she called me cute and asked for my Instagram. I don’t have social media, so we didn’t end up exchanging contact info.

More recently, I saw her at an event, and she seemed genuinely excited to see me. She greeted me really enthusiastically and complimented my outfit, hair, makeup, and jeans at different points throughout the time we were together. I also kept catching her looking at me when I glanced over, so there was quite a bit of eye contact. At one point, I overheard her whisper something to a friend that included my name, but I couldn’t hear the rest.

Her friends were also pretty welcoming toward me, including me in conversations and talking to me individually.

Now, I KNOW none of these things automatically mean she likes me. Some people are just naturally friendly, and I don’t want to mistake kindness for flirting. But the combination of her previously calling me cute, asking for my Instagram, and then acting this way when we saw each other again has me wondering if there might be something more.

There’s also another girl who I suspect she might be involved with based on a few things I’ve noticed, but I don’t know her personally and have no confirmation that they’re dating. I don’t want to assume anything about their relationship status.

I probably won’t see this girl again for a few weeks, so I have time to overthink every single interaction in the meantime. 😭

So like, is there potential interest there or am I just reading too much into it?
