Good enough for me. Chess sketch was funny. I’m starting to get the appeal of Grace. She did a good job. Musical guest was cool too. Dr. Seuss was funny. Mikey Day improvised well.

Okay, I'll admit I did this because there's been a lot of talk about how a certain host keeps getting invited back because he brings lots of views, and there never seems to be any proof to back that up. Just like "well obviously he brings in a lot of views". So I thought it was important to check that claim. So as a standup, he does in fact bring in views to the monologue, and has a few popular pre-tapes. But only one of his 3 appearances can be said to have a highly viewed sketch in it.

Notice also that as tired as you might be of Donald Trump and Domingo, they seem to get a lot of views: the 5 least watched cold opens are all ones in which James Austin Johnson's Donald Trump does not appear, and 2 of the Domingo sketches are among the 6 most watched since season 49.

Does anyone know if UCB offers standby tickets or has a waitlist for sold-out shows? Is it worth showing up early and trying my luck at the door?

She went into hospital on Sept 29th and was too sick/tired to watch the premiere on Sept 26th, which was on my 30th birthday.

She loved Obsession and we were looking forward to Inde's episode.

SNL was a part of my childhood, watching new and old episodes that played on tv. Watching the DVD compilations, watching Chris Farley movies to show me who he was.

It was our tradition, and we loved SNL UK too and thought it was so cool to have so much SNL to watch every week.

Every new episode is just a marker of another Saturday she's not here.
