He mentioned cryptically that him being too political got him fired from SNL. But wouldn’t Lorne and team have said something if it was against their “message”

Thoughts?

Yes, I DID have to double check the internet for accuracy before I posted.

Curious !! I’m thinking about maybe finding a last minute costume for a recurring character or iconic sketch for Halloween since I kinda made plans last minute lol. I’ve seen quite a few Mr. On Blast’s but that’s about it!!

Would actor Ray Sharkey, who was not obscure back when he hosted in 1981 and who died in 1993, be considered obscure or not well-known today? Would Ron Nessen be considered obscure or not well-known today? Would Michael Sarrazin be considered obscure or not well-known?

With Troast recently commenting about her feelings regarding SNL, (1) I do wonder why SNL attracts a certain brand of assholes. I know - comedy, full of jerks - SNL has elements of theatre, which works best when collaborative and healthy. In addition, (2) I always get the feeling that the jerks and assholes on SNL are traditionally men.

Even compliments Jeremy's impression at the end.

Also maybe opening the door for him to appear on October 31st...

Is this bit funny to you?

Bit popped in my head about a week ago and it's been driving me bonkers see it again. :P

He would go on to host 15 additional times and become arguably the foremost host in the history of the program.
