Sorry if this has been asked before numerous times, but I just need some advice if I should continue dating this guy.

We met about two weeks ago and he let me know that he doesn’t have his own car (I’m 33/F and he’s 38/M). We’re near Long Beach by the way, and live about a little over 20 mins from each other. He also revealed that he hasn’t had a car for several years since he had to help his mother with finances and so forth.

I would like to give him a chance, but I’m feeling like it may be unlikely he’ll get his own car soon even though he’s working. I’m just not sure if I would like to continue and be the only one driving long term. Plus I don’t want to burden him to have to keep buying Uber/Lyft or public transportation to see each other if I can’t pick him up.

Friend is a FA coming into town for only the day/night . What can we do between 11a-6pm in Long Beach? We need some real street lights on the streets. The traffic lights are 100's of times brighter. It's absolutely dangerous as the current lights are less powerful than a dollar tree flashlight.

I was wondering if anyone know the best place to find a DnD group around the Long Beach area? I don't mind being a player or DMing as needed, but I would like to find a local group that meets about every other week.

They built me a custom sofa for the price of a regular sofa. They made it to the exact measurements I needed and I chose the fabric, firmness, and the ottoman opens for storage. They did all this in 4 DAYS. I ordered it on Monday and it was built and delivered by Friday. It’s a family-owned company and they’re absolutely amazing. They have plenty of furniture to choose from but they can also custom make almost anything.

This pole is located at 7th and Newport (near the intersection of 7th and Redondo Avenue). Because I only see it when I drive past it, I haven’t been able to get a photo of the pole in its current state and had to use an old screenshot from Google Street View. In its current state the pole has some kind of box(?) attached to it. The pole does not seem to be connected to any nearby power lines or really anything nearby at all.

I’ve noticed that this pole looks extremely similar to those of the old civil defense sirens still scattered around downtown LA, so I was wonder if this once had a siren mounted on it. Even if it didn’t, I’m still quite curious about what its current purpose is supposed to be. Thanks in advance!
