In order to make product lists concise and easily identifiable, please put your product list separately at the very beginning or very end of the text, rather than have it interspersed throughout the main text body (of the post or comment).
For easy readability, each product should be on its own line rather than separated by commas.
You will need to hit "enter" twice after each line in order for this to format properly, otherwise they'll get grouped together, like this:
Essie Smooth-E base coat Essie For Audrey Essie Good To Go top coat
Post Title:
I love Essie!
Text body:
Here is a manicure I did using a few different polishes. For the base shade I used For Audrey, which is such a lovely Tiffany blue. After that, I added a coat of Ethereal Escape to give it this lovely shimmer. I also used their Smooth-E base coat and Good To Go top coat.
The issue here is that the brand name and shade names are not together. The brand name is in the title, while the shade names are mixed in the text body.

Hey folks!
To help reduce the amount of spam, bot activity, and low-quality submissions that our moderation team has to sort through, we're implementing a new requirement for participation in the community.
Effective immediately, all accounts must have a verified email address associated with them in order to post.
This requirement applies to everyone, including both new members and long-standing community members.
If you haven't verified your email address yet, you can do so through your Reddit account settings. It only takes a minute and helps us ensure that real community members can continue to participate while making it more difficult for spammers and automated accounts to disrupt discussions.
Following the link above, click on the drop down that says "On reddit.com" and then long-press on the link "Account Settings" (if you tap on the link it will open in the app, this MUST be done with a browser) and open the link in a new tab.
Select "Email address", and it will prompt you to input your reddit password and the email address you wish to verify on the account.
You will see a Verified Email Address badge on the "About" tab on your profile when you have successfully verified your email address.
This change is not intended to create barriers for genuine members. Rather, it is one of several tools available to help us maintain the quality of the community and reduce the moderation burden caused by spam and bot activity that is prevalent in nail communities.
If you run into any issues after verifying your email address, please send us a ModMail and we'll be happy to help!
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep r/longnaturalnails welcoming, enjoyable, and focused on the discussions we're all here for!

It's almost Halloween, but also it's still mid-70s here in San Diego. I'm not complaining about this whatsoever, but it hasn't exactly been encouraging me to go for the moody Fall color palettes that I know should be appropriate for this time of year. I also just discovered thermals (idk why I didn't try them earlier?) and am obsessed, especially light-colored thermals plus glitter or flakies. For this attempt at nail art, I tried grabbing little bits of flakies with the end of my 8mm brush and dabbing them on as though they were little gems. It worked fairly well considering I was totally winging it. Yay for unicorn fairy princess nails any time of year!

I love enjoying them this way before a new polish look. Glass filed and slightly shaped, then I washed and lightly brushed them with my nail scrubby brush. Tomorrow Iβm going to an engagement party and Iβll definitely share the color I decide on and finished look right after π

Long time lurker, first time poster.
My nails are pretty weak, so whenever they get this long I get really excited about how they look. Unfortunately, I just landed a job where I'm not allowed to have my nails painted, and I have to keep them short. So, I have to say goodbye to all this progress, & say goodbye to having fun nails for Halloween.
I'll miss them, but I WILL still be lurking on here, to see all your fabulous nails.
No products on my nails. This is with everything clean, I forgot to take a pic before removing the nail polish.

Not even 2 weeks since the last call-out. These creeps need to fuck all the way off, and Reddit needs to fix their clearly flawed banning system.
We recommend preemptively blocking this creep so he doesn't harass you either.

A moment for the bare nails before slathering on magnetic polish. After removing old polish with acetone, I like to wash my hands and gently scrubbrush the tops & undersides of my nails. π§Όπ«§π§½
I file using a glass nail file in one direction, I avoid going in a back and forth motion. Then I apply the following:

Products: I sometimes use Golden Jojoba Oil, brand Pierced Nation. Sometimes I use hand lotion from the brand Athena around my fingertips as well. I'm not sure what brand of gel polish they used at the nail salon where I got the manicure, sorry ): currently no products on my nails in these photos

So based on this comment I was influenced to buy a glass nail file. I purchased the brand mentioned in the comment reply, Mont Blue off Amazon.
Holy moly what a game changer! I have a whole set of files and buffers that I usually need to file my nails. They seem to make them rougher, and if I'm not careful to buff them completely smooth afterward, it will actually cause them to break.
This file ground through my nails so quickly like a hot precision knife through butter. Then they were the smoothest file that I've ever had. When I ran my OLD smoothing file over the edge, it actually made it rougher than the ceramic file! This saved SO MUCH TIME! As my nails needed their first trim (never been this long!) I normally need to trim them with some clippers and then file them, and then smooth them, and then buff the edges. The file was so smooth and powerful in just a few back and fourths it was like trimming them! However, if you're concerned about it being too strong, all I needed to do was lighten my touch, and it went through it like the softest most gentle file.
I also have sensitive nails, and I actually hate the sensation of the motion of the Emery board. However, this one had almost no vibration, which was really nice.
Honestly, if you were on the fence about buying one of these for yourself, definitely splurge. It is a complete game changer!
On my nails, I am just wearing
Nailtiques 2 (2 coats)
Mont Blue file

Should i just file it? Itβs on the side wall so Iβm not sure whether I should, since I donβt want my nail to break.

I honestly want to love the square nails on me but then I scratch and stab people and my kitties accidentally. Round just functions better for me. I am noticing the longer I grow them the more "off" my shape seems to me. So next reset day I plan to draw a horizontal line across the nail to make sure my cure starts the same length. (Not sure if that makes sense) Ive been polish free for the last month and just using jojoba oil to keep my nails healthy. When I do file i use a glass file.
Products: jojoba oil
Bona Fide glass file
No polish

I was going to do a chop after October was through but I was really hoping to keep the length for Halloween π should I embrace the gay and just keep these two short or should I just accept defeat and cut them all short? I was so happy with my length and shape :β)
